How many years has baseball been around and we're just now trying to protect pitchers? Oh and anytime you can post a picture of The Office, that's a good thing. :awesome::up:

But pitchers always get hit in the face when pitching, rarely in the head...

This is the first thought I had when I read about the helmet. That thing isn't going to stop their faces from being buckled in.

The Rangers are kind of piling up the controversies this off-season. The whole Michael Young saga, moving Feliz to the rotation when he'd rather stay the closer, and now they're forcing Greenberg out less than a year after their group bought the team. So much for stability at the top for this organization.

The best we ever did was the year we were bankrupt and MLB owned the team for the most part.

As long as Washington doesn't start hanging with Charlie Sheen the play will be just fine.

Kinsler is looking healthy this year.

:cap: :cap: :cap:

Ian Kinsler making it through a season without injury is about as likely as...well...Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz making it through a season without injury.

Alright, the draft for the fantasy league is in a week and we're still sitting at 7 players. I don't know where you've disappeared to little Spider-Bat, but open it up to more people already.

Put out an open invite or PM the details. I'd definitely be interested in participating.

why does Chris Davis always have to look decent at times so the stupid Rangers fans can say "DAVIS SHOULD BE THE STARTER!" and then when he strikes out all season long they always fall back on "it takes time...let him work it out"
sorry...venting...i just hate some of the guys around my town that talk to me.

It's hard to be successful with sub-300 OBP and average power.

Mets Release Oliver Perez, thank god!

Mets now eating 18mil. :)

Maybe it's just me but it seems as if merchandise has gone up in price this year? I was going to get a new Phillies hat the other day and it was friggin' 34.99. I swear I only paid 25 for mine last year... I can't bring myself to pay dang near 40 bucks after tax for a hat.

Oh well, I don't much care for "official" hats anyway. Can't work outside in them as they make my head itch something fierce on hot days.

You can try Amazon. I got a new Yankees hat last year for about $20, which is cheaper than most almost every store that I've gone too. Depending on you hat size, you can get one as cheap as $17.50.

Good game so far, Halladay is a beast. Some work is needed on our offense though.

I have to hit Modells and get my Castillo and Perez jerseys on clearance.

the showtime series on the giants this year looks like it's going to be awesome.
