is the only player in MLB history to get busted juicing twice a Hall of Famer? No he is not, if we ain't gonna see Canseco, McGwire, Sosa, Palmeiro or Bonds' plaques in cooperstown, we sure as hell won't see Manny's.
It's still too early to tell. You never know how people will feel about those players in the future. As for Buck Showalter, I've got respect for him too. The way he's turned around the Baltimore Orioles organization since joining them has been outstanding.

John Rhadigan is definatley no Josh Lewin (enjoy him Padre fans hes one of the best IMO) anyway I'm gonna say Hamilton gets his first HR of the season tonite

Manny isn't going into the HoF....anyone that thinks so needs to have their head checked

I HATE Rhadigan. They should have hired my buddy Scott Garner. He worked at my station for years and now he's the Frisco guy. He's subbed a few times too.

I don't know HOW Rhadigan got this job. He's barely a functional bleecher guy.

I remember how people felt about McGwire and Sosa in 98 (I remember watching McGwire hitting number 62 , and I have the SI where they were both on the cover dressed like caesar) and I also know how people feel about them now .If, and thats a (BIG IF!) they make it to Cooperstown, it will be with a big fat asterisk by their names. Manny on the other hand has a snowball's chance in hell of making it to the HOF with two P.E.D. violations

Manny isn't getting in the Hall of Fame. He was busted TWICE, both times AFTER MLB installed stricter drug testing. To think he never did it before, during his prime years, is naive.

I'm a Mets fan and I wouldn't have Beltran on my fantasy team if you paid me....I do have Ike Davis though

Rangers did a good lil rebound there...games not over but I certainly like 9-1 right now :)

elephant in the room time....the Giants fan in a medically induced coma because he was beat down by Dodgers fans at Opening Day

I like Ike!

I don't know why Collins keeps dropping him down to 6th in the order, he's been the most clutch player on the team this season. IMO, he should be batting clean-up. Though I do understand hitting him 5th to split up his and Wright's lefty bats.

eh, he'll deal with it...Collins said at the beginning of this year he was going to be moving everyone around

Just because he'll deal with it doesn't meant it's the right move. Ike has an RBI in every game the Mets have scored a run. When you're constantly getting runners to third with less than 2 outs in the first inning and failing to score runs with your 3,4, and 5 hitters at the plate, and the guy you keep batting 6th has been the most clutch player on the team so far, maybe it's time to move him up in the order is all I'm saying.

Ike may struggle if they move him in the cleanup and place that presure on him since he's young, maybe that's what the managers are thinking?

As I wrote that, Ike has another RBI just now. :D

But how do we know the pregnancy pills he got busted with actually helped him? Him getting busted doesn't take away from his amazing ability to hit, you can't take a drug for that.

How is it an elephant? People have commented on this already.
