But I like what they done with Kitty, she was my favourite character (her and Scott) in ASX and I liked it that they didn't kill her off, in a way she is but in a way she might come back, but poor Pete, he was sad.

One of the best things in it Beast and Brand ha I love them to! Fastly becoming my new favs.

Nice ending overall, when the bullet phased though the City that picture was cool.

Oh and Spidey made me giggle

You're right. I thought the two other times Cyke called him in Henry in front of the SFPD, but it was so for the second time only.

My bad. Oh well.

Kind of a bummer if we'll never hear him say 'Hank'.

Sorry, must have skipped your post or something when I skimmed it, and I was only thinking about the conversation between Scott and Hank, not the entire story.

Emma's dialogue is a bit "off" but I'll stick with it

Emma's dialogue is just a bit overdone in some places. She sounds like Emma, that whole "I want to sound like I'm an uptight and dignified Brit rather than Massachusetts trash," but a few of her lines are blown up way too much.

I was thrown off when she called Storm "woman."

I don't have the issue in front of me, but I think I remember the line, or at least the general tone and idea of it.

Emma doesn't really like Storm, so it doesn't strike me as off when she addresses her as "woman" in an annoyed way, which I think it was. It's akin to yelling, "Good god, man!" at someone annoying.

I don't see Emma getting under Storm's skin until well into the run. Kitty was young, feisty, and looking for a reason to fight w/ Emma. Ororo will need more provocation.

Totally agree, but it sure looked like he was toying with the idea in that first issue.

It's kinda hard to have Emma be the team ***** w/o somebody to fight w/ though.

I hate Storm, but I give Ellis mad props for wanting to use her on a team in conjunction with Cyclops, and bring her back into the X-world.

That said, I hate Storm. Considering Bianchi has done work with other characters, I'm assuming we're going to see some kind of revolving roster - there's Angel, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Dazzler that Bianchi has published sketches of. I'm assuming he's not going to break up the veterans in Cyke, Emma, Wolverine, Beast, and Armor, at least not for long. So, either Storm will be leaving at some point, or else the team is going to be really big.
