Why has Tim shaved his hair

I bet he's rebelling against Batman and trying to make him mad by joining a punk band :ninja:

So I wonder how they're going to explain how Barbara can walk again. taking a shot of Christopher Reeve brand stem cells?

Keyser Soze suggested that her costume might be cybernetic and allow her to walk again when she is wearing it. That might be pretty cool

Super Giga Mecha Batgirl! :awesome:

Batman put Tim through that V for Vendetta prison/torture sequence to find out if he could trust him. Then he made him eat rats.

massive torture and rodent cuisine is the only way to make someone absolutly loyal to you.,

Glad that they're putting out a Red Robin skin because I will be using that as opposed to that atrocious Robin design.

Well we don't even know how their interpretation of Red Robin looks like. So the jury is still out on that.

As for Robin I'm fine with the suit, I actually fancy it quite a bit but that buzzcut is really terrible for a character like Tim who's had his trademark medium length jet black hair for ages.

I know some people find that complaint petty but I'd react the same if they gave Bruce Wayne a buzzcut all of a sudden to make things more "edgy".

It just comes off as lame quite frankly.

*looks around, checks if anyone else has said it*
"and lover..."

Of course :atp:

DC needs to let those two come out of the closet and get together:up:

That design is terrible, which is a shame because usually Rocksteady is a lot better with their designs. The hair is too short, the hood only works with Damian, and if Tim Drake was going to be used, they should have used his Red Robin identity as opposed to his Robin identity.

What? No, they aren't. I would even go as far as to say that's their biggest weak point. Some of them are fine, but there were several in AA that were just bad.

But, anyway, the Robin picture doesn't bother me too much outside the buzzcut look. I don't really get what the hell is up with seeing that pop up in video game characters a lot lately. Apparently, hair just isn't cool anymore. Besides that, I'm just glad they are having the balls to introduce Robin. I will say commenting on the picture in the Arkam City thread in the video game forums quickly reminded me why I don't post in there.

I just wish the Penguin had a more beak nose, he looks too much like an angry Jason Alexander.

First Apollo loses his gorgeous long blonde hair now Robin is nearly bald too

Maybe some new dc villain is running around stealing peoples hair

I think Robins design would be more appropriate on Damian, he has the 'edge' to pull that look off :oldrazz:

Wouldn't? I'm guessing you mean would. I've never really seen much appeal to an 'edgy' Robin myself. It's like everything has to be all 'edgy' and 'badass' nowadays. It's almost like self-parody at this point.

He has lost his mind and become a supervillain

I knew it would happen one day :wow:

DC RETROACTIVE: BATMAN – THE ‘70s cover by Tom Mandrake and Wes Hartman.

Gates of Gotham #2 comes this week, but let us bask in the glory of Nguyen variants! This is for #3, not 2.

:hrt::hrt:

It's funny... I hated Nuygen's art style during his Batman run in 2004/2005 (was it?)... the one with monster Scarecrow.

HATED it.

Then he did Superman/Batman with Alan Burnett and I absolutely fell in love with the way he drew Batman. I think he made him slimmer or something.

Then he teamed up with the Dini master... and my appreciation was truly forged. :yay:

I absolutely love his covers. I think as an interiors artist he's good, but they don't compare to his covers. Although that might be the coloring or the inking that really sets them apart. To be honest, I'm not great when it comes to distinguishing that kind of stuff.

One day, DC will wise up and get Nguyen to paint an entire mini-series or graphic novel the way he does his covers.

Also, it will be written by Greg Rucka, and it will destroy the universe.
