So, I figure this is the best place to talk about it, but I recently read Last Rites, which is Daredevil #297-300, by DG Chichester and Lee Weeks. This was a really great storyline that is supposed to show the fall of the Kingpin, after everything he had done to DD up to that point (like Born Again). It's a really great story where DD actually goes out of his way to take down DD, and includes a pretty crazy scene where DD takes down Typhoid Mary is a pretty questionable manner (nice to see DD has been walking the line of morality for a while) as well as overall showing him enjoy slowly destroy Kingpin's life. Plus, really great art by Lee Weeks (one of my favorites).

You guys should check it out, I have no idea why it isn't collected in trade.

Also, some other solicits for February:

I'll be getting Lone Stranger. Nice to see they're collecting some stories that aren't by Miller.

anyone skilled enough to make a DD costume for me for my fan film? there's some on ebay...and I can pay, just hold off for a while till i get the cash...

I'll be getting Lone Stranger, too. I'll buy any DD book drawn by John Romita Jr. As for the other two, I already have the single issues of Brubaker's run and I don't care for the Classic books.

Sooo how's DD's love life going in the midst of all that's been happening?

His wife, Milla was still in a state of crazy/coma from the Mr. Fear story. Her parents wanted her in their care, and while Matt initially fought back, he decided to let her go, along with the rest of his life basically. So yeah, no love life for Matt anymore. But here's hoping he hooks up with White Tiger.

Sooo how's DD's love life going in the midst of all that's been happening?

Pretty much what CTN said. He signed sole custody of Milla over to her parents and Dakota walked out on Nelson & Murdock after Matt roughed up the photographer who captured their impromptu rendezvous. Since then, Matt's been so busy with The Hand that he hasn't said a word to anyone close to him, with the exception of Izo, White Tiger, and Black Tarantula. His love life seems to be the one area of his life where Brubaker tied up all the loose ends. Although, considering the chemistry, I imagine when The Hand storyline wraps up--or at the very least, levels out--Diggle will bring Dakota back into the picture. I hope he does, anyway.

Thanks for the info guys. And CTOAN, I wouldn't mind White Tiger either.

I am a DC fan who is also a huge Marvel fan and I usually wait for the Graphic Novels for Marvel. I have been reading Daredevil mostly. I have read Jeph Loeb's Daredevil: Yellow and a lot of Brubaker's run all amazing stuff. I also read one called Daredevil: Redemption which has got to be one my favorite comic books ever! I am currently reading Lady Bullseye good stuff. Any other great Daredevil stories out there I should check out?

I'm actually thrilled that they're collecting the Nocenti/JRJr stories. They are so damn good.

Bendis and Maleev's run is quintessential and precedes Brubaker and Lark's. There's 3 volumes of DD Visionaries: Frank Miller which is phenominal stuff. That includes the issue when Bullseye kills Elektra, which blew me away first time I read it. Has some great appearences by Stick too  Also check out Born Again and the Battlin' Jack Murdock mini.

It’s blood, sweat, and brutal truths as the new creative team of Andy Diggle (THUNDERBOLTS) and Roberto De La Torre (IRON MAN) continue their first breathtaking story arc! While the Kingpin secretly builds his power base, Daredevil and Master Izo collide violently over the future of the guild of assassins known as The Hand, and Foggy fears the Matt Murdock he once knew may be gone for good.

I love De la Torre's art. Daredevil has had some of the best artwork Marvel has from Alex Maleev and then Michael Lark, it's great to see it keep to such a high standard with the new team.

I'm so glad Izo is still around too. Love that guy.

I cant believe how awesome Daredevil has been this past decade at Marvel. He's officially replaced Spiderman as my favorite comic hero. My only wish is that they give DD some new adversaries because i'm kinda tired of seeing Kingpin and Bulleseye stories. Brubaker did a great job with Mr. Fear, hopefully Diggle can bring some new blood to the table.

I really liked the Mr Fear arc too, a lot of people didn't seem to though. Don't get why. Kingpin has had a lot of exposure, naturally, but I loved how he was used in the Return of the King arc. And I'm always game for some DD vs Bullseye, but I agree some new blood is needed.
