It was announced just over a week ago that Warner Bros. was planning on working on a Deadman film. With Guillermo del Toro and Don Murphy producing the film, and looking for a screenwriter as soon as possible.
Who would you like to see as Boston Brand/Deadman? Someone who could play the "posessed" type. Along with being ominous, wise-cracking, etheral, and at the same time grounded. Keep in mind that before he was murdered by an unknown assassin, during a trapeze performance, he was a circus acrobat.
