I belive GG is not only Spidey's greatest villain but is the greatest comic book villain ever.
Of course the Joker is probably the most recognizable comic villain of all time but he is always the Joker, all the time, never presenting the world a face other than that of the Clown Prince of Crime. We don’t even know his real name. Norman Osborn, on the other hand, is a monster that can walk the streets without being recognized for the evil that he is (And yes, Norman has been outed at least twice as the Green Goblin, and both times has managed to overcome it and pull the wool over the world’s eyes and con them into believing that he’s not. So, the assumption of this article is that his identity is currently secret). That he is the Goblin is something he has to keep carefully hidden from the world at large so that he can continue to function freely within it. Only by adopting another identity can he fully let loose with the rage and the mania that more than once have claimed his precipitous hold on sanity. Everyone has a “goblin,” a dark side within them, and most people are able to control that side and not let it out. That Norman is in a position, through his wealth and costumed identity, to give his demons free reign at times, escaping the limitations that society and the legal system put on aberrant behavior makes him the most compelling and fascinating villain

Sounds like you don't know the Joker at all. He doesn't need a real name nor another face. In fact, having one would probably damage his character's reputation since he isn't supposed to have any sense of "humanity" in him. He's supposed to be a powerful psychopath who even instills fear in Batman. Having a name/face would just make him less formidable and more of a common, everyday villain.

Wait a second...is this Ultimate Spider-Man? I thought the Goblin was a giant hulk monster in that universe?

That is from an issue of The Pulse, a comic from around 2004. It features the capture and unmasking of 616 Norman Osborn.

Also, have you guys heard of "Danger Zone?" Its an upcoming arc featuring the Hobgoblin. Dan Slott says it will be a status changing event for Hobby.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm at work right now when I get home I will upload some pics, till then u can google alex ross life size green goblin statue and u should see it.

Awesome statue but I dont have any room to put it anywhere. Sorry.

Anyone see that clip between Connors and Ratha from TASM..pretty sure they mentioned Norman being sick or something?

I wonder if we get him as the eventual big bad down the line, if he is a combo goblin+suit instead of a straight suit or straight mutated guy. I see that Hobgoblin post above, and think that would be perfect (giving him that mutated like skin with the regular hood and whatnot)

Dan Slott's been telling people on Twitter not to read the solicits because of spoilers, so...

Roderick Kingsley is most likely back with a vengeance. :woot::woot:
