I mean you can basically do the classic costume, while tweaking a few details here and there to make it more "cinematic." They've done it with Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Iron Man, Captain America, Katana, Etc. So I don't think that Harley is beyond that.

Also, she's meant to look like a clown. Her name is HARLEY QUINN for goodness sake. Aside from he face-paint (and even that's stretching it), there's nothing about her current DCEU look that screams "clown."

They couldn't even do the correct diamond patterns. I don't see why, if they were so determined to go for the tattooed look, she couldn't have the correct pattern on her thigh. Three diamonds. That's it. That's all they had to do. She even had it in her concept art ffs.

It's happening until someone from WB officially says it isn't happening. It has as good a shot as any of getting made, with maybe only Aquaman, Wonder Woman 2, and The Batman having a better chance of getting made.

There is no guarantee that Batman will even be in Gotham City Sirens or that Catwoman will be in The Batman so why does it matter that Affleck is older? It's much better to have someone close to Harley Quinn in age.

Catwoman should be operating for a hot minute and be the mature one for the most part. Her being Harleys age is dumb imo. Let her be in her mid 30s, she doesn't need to be the typical hot young adult.

Man...if he did, and DC let him get away with it I'd just quit the DCEU. That would be the last straw that they either simply don't understand the characters or just flat out don't care. I know you're joking, but I thought Leto's Joker was a joke at first too. Then the trailers hit...

Third this concept does not have a good base. Having read all issues of GCS I can say it was a completely pointless series with no hook or angle beyond featuring the main Batverse bad girls. There's no memorable story arcs there and it often floundered with the same repetitive tropes and plot lines( the last major arc had Harkey trying to kill Joker and then falling in love all over again). It's only saving grace was that it was launched as part of the Batman Reborn initiative spearheaded by Grant Morrison.

I fully expect another dumpster fire.

Awww. I liked the original comics. They were more in the vain of Gotham Girls (at least with Dini writing). Not to be taken too seriously. Just some fun with fan favorites. A movie it ain't tho.
