The front combined with the back is supposed to be a spider; it just looks like a heart.

oh....yah....well....kiiiinda.

Still, it's a pretty cool variation. Quite Reilly-esque.

Oh...Ben....how I miss thee.

yeah make sure to pick up the issue where he shows up again.

Accept no imitations.

At least it's JR JR. BTW, The first Menace story came in a mail today. Menace is a lame character, but the story was entertaining. Can't wait for the Freak. (Sarcasm, I've heard some things.)

Why the hell are we getting Goblin-Lite? I'd expect Norman to eviscerate this guy on principle.

The Norman/Menace fight in NWTD was a disappointment. Hell, the whole arc was a symbiote party. Norman didnt suit up til the end and the Menace fight was nothing special. I admit, I enjoyed Norman recognizing the glider Menace used and using its self destruct code to knock him out of the fight. But then he gets beaten up and Menace gets away? What a pointless battle. I'm sure it will be referenced in the future, but I'm not that interested.

I was hoping for equal time between Venom, Anti-Venom, the Green Goblin and Menace but like I said, it was all symbiote. :csad:

I'm behind in my reading, so I'll have to get that one.
Villains are supposed to be irreplaceable. We could get with Hobgoblin b/c he somehow brought something new to the table. I think not knowing who he was the same way we didn't know Norman in the beginning helped. But I hate the interchangeable idea in general. (I'm talking to you, the geniuses who gave the Venom symbiote to Gargan!)

Incidentally, I need more money.

the 2nd image you posted.. is that Brother Goblin? :funny:

I agree and I dont. I like that the characters were respected by not just mixing and matching them. Sometimes they died and their deaths had lasting consequences. Nothing seems permanent anymore, and that stifles character development. The characters get stuck in a loop. Norman being the exception. He just needs to keep on.:woot:

Then again, after Norman "died" we went from Harry to Bart Hamilton in quick succession. After Kingsley retired, we got Jason Macendale. We went from Venom to Carnage to God knows how many pointless symbiotes.

Have you seen the one I'm working on in the fan art thread?

Very nice.

C'mon guys, more fan art! Dont be ashamed. I cant even try to draw.

Nice work, good job.

So what do you guys think of the supposed future plot by Norman in Thunderbolts to become the head of SHEILD?

I love how a Spider-Man villain (and hopefully Spider-Man himself) is becoming a big player in Marvel Universe.

I don't love how this could end up as President Luth... President Osborn I mean.
