Even as a kid when I first started collecting comics the glider was always my biggest choice for a 'power'. Too cool for words. Its such a simple concept, really - not all that different than jet boots or wings but for some reason....it's just AWESOME.

...that and Octopus' tentacles come next. =)

I was always split between the glider and a symbiote. I liked that the alien was more reliable, whereas if you get knocked off a glider, you lost a big advantage. Then I realized that the symbiote is more trouble than its worth and the glider can be programmed to return to you as you fall.

Ock's tentacles only appeal to me in terms of helping me multi-task.
