without a decent and complex set of villains, the hero is worthless. i think all of the spider-man villains are good. venom is my favourite, but green goblin is right up there with the best.

^^ You should see the preview for the upcoming issue of Dark Avengers. I think Norman has finally lost it. Ever since Dark Reign started, he has had slight signs of insanity, so I think it's great that it's all coming togeather.

Besides, Joe Q hinted at Spidey being the one to end this "Norman reign" thing. I also remember hearing (possibly hearing) that Norman may be fighting Spidey with his Goblin suit again.

Speaking of that, I can't wait for the "Seige" story to start.

Also, those pictures are great! Awesome, costume, indeed.

Hopefully I don't strech the page too big... I've been watching Spec Spidey's final Goblin arc again and I was experimenting with facial expressions with my Gobby picture. In Subtext he did look odd sometimes when talking to Mark (Molten Man), so I did try to make him look as weird here as well... I did end up quoting parts of the show though for the facial expressions... It's kinda hard drawing Gobby's hat when it's not flowing in the wind...it always looks odd...and those Goblin brows can be something too...I can almost see why people get rid of them in the more recent outings with Gobby (animated or otherwise).

I did. I gotta say it was good to finally see Norman and Spidey clash again, even if Norm went as Iron Patriot. I was underwhelmed by Dan Slott in NWTD but he impressed me in this story. I love the interaction between Peter and Iron Patriot in the web cafe. Peter Parker seems to be the one to take Norman down, not Spider-Man. t:

Well, maybe not really taken down, as Norm still has to carry out his Siege against Asgard. I'm guessing that Peter's finding the incriminating disk speeds up Osborn's plans quite a bit.
