The popularity of Jensen Ackles is somewhat perplexing. His performance in Supernatural is mediocre, though I suppose that may be the failing of the writing.
That sounds like awesome news to me.This is probably bad news, but from what I'm hearing Harnett and Duhamel aren't being considered.
this season, his character has had to carry a lot of the narrative, they even had an episode that featured him exclusively....and he's doing a good job of it
A Green Lantern movie directed by Greg Berlanti and starring Jensen Ackles and Alana de la Garza sounds completely underwhelming. It would OK for a TV series, though.
A Batman movie directed by Chris Nolan with Christian Bale and no major villain was underwhelming to the general public as well.

Mads Mikkelsen is my Sinestro.

Do you mean Ray Winstone as Kilowog?Hal Jordan - Sam Worthington.
Carol Ferris - Rachel McAdams.
Tom Kalmuka - John Cho.
Hector Hammond - Jackie Earle Haley.
Martin Jordan - Dennis Quaid.
Carl Ferris - Jon Voight.
Abin Sur - Doug Jones.
Tomar-Tu - Doug Jones.
Killowog - Sam Winstone.
Sinestro - Hugo Weaving.
Paul Giamatti? That's interesting. Madds Mikelsen as Sinestro is also, by the way.My main hope is that Paul Giamatti is Hector Hammond.

In this moment Ray Winstone is far more expensive than MCD, who's doing guest roles in sitcoms and secondary roles in B movies like the new Street Fighter.I like Michael Clarke Duncan, but i think he's too expensive for a secondary character like Kilowog is in the script (He only has three lines). Ray Winstone is not exactly cheap, but it's more suitable, besides having a voice that matches with a tought hippo-like alien cosmic police sargent.
Yes, I am already gearing up for the fanboy slamming/post-trailer 180 fawning and ass-kissing that we got with Ledger, if it's someone like Gosling or Affleck cast.

Interesting choice. He certainly has the voice for it.

There was some rumbling I saw on tv a little while back that said that dude from that Gossip Girl show, Chase Crawford or whatever, might be in line for the role. I tried to do a search on it, but nothing popped up. Could've just been one of those E! channel rumor mills, but I heard the phrase Green Lantern and Gossip Girl in the same phrase from one of those vapid personalities, so don't know.
