Depends on the story for me. If it's my script 3 parter that starts with an old Hal gone crazy played by clark's dad from smallville and then we get kyle rayner.

This suit would look pretty awesome in the movie....

Yeah that suit would work very well with Hal Jordon in an live action film.

The suit Kyle Rayner wore in STAS (Superman : The animated series) would also work as well for Kyle

I don't know what I have seen him in but after watching HBO Rome I think James Purefoy (Mark Antony)would make a great Hal Jordan. He also screen tested for Bond but they went with Daniel Craig instead. Sinestro I always see a Hugo Weaving.

The thing that puts me off about Sam Worthington as Hal is that when it comes time for a JLA movie, i'm worried he'll just look too similar to Batman and Superman. I mean, he could easily play either of those characters as well. It's one of the reasons I like Nathan Fillion, he's different looking. Also, he's awesome.

There will be one, eventually. It wont be soon, and it wont be starring 20-year old Austrailian no-names, but DC plans to build all their solo franchise towards a JLA picture, just like Marvel is doing with The Avengers.

Yea right now its looking we will likely not see jla film which will hopefully be a much better film then what it was going to be with george miller's mess untill like 2015 which sucks a bit. Yes i would have liked if it was happening within the next 1-3 yrs but it just had to many problems. Right now if dc wants things to get moving they should green lit green latern and green arrow get both of them out for 2010, then have batman 3 and superman reboot for 2011, then flash/ww for 2012/2013, and then jla 2013-2015.

Some nice casting but fillion is likely not going to happen and i know alot like him as hal, but i stated before in the former jla threads/or even here in the dc films section he isnt into doing live action hero films.

I've read quite a few quotes indicating he would actually like to play a superhero. And I do happen to have some of it on hand.
