My vote for Guy Gardner is Scott Caan

a lot of people want taylor cole as WW but i think she would make a better CF/SS

i need to ask a dumb question but why is Superman on the cast list for a Green Lantern movie? Unless he shows up like Robert Downy Jr. or Sam Jackson did in the Hulk and Iron Man movies. I probably just answered my own question didn't I?

Great idea!

Would being in TDK be a positive or a negative?

I don't think it would have any impact, he had just a small role at the very begining of the film that I don't think anyone would notice, especially when you put Sinestro's look to him.

Scott Caan is a good choice, but Alan Tudyk still screams Guy Gardner to me.

:word: I don't know what I have seen him in but after watching HBO Rome I think James Purefoy (Mark Antony)would make a great Hal Jordan. He also screen tested for Bond but they went with Daniel Craig instead. Sinestro I always see a Hugo Weaving.
James Purefoy

FINALLY!! Someone else other than me sees this! I've been suggesting Purefoy for years and no one ever agreed with me. Purefoy looks like Hal personified.

I had never thought of that before, but yeah he could work.

The more I think about it, the more I like Michael C. Hall for Hal Jordan. Purefoy is a strong choice too, but at 44 years old now he could be a little old.

I Don't agree. Michael C. Hall would't fit. Taylor Cole, otherwise, could be a good Carol Ferris. The problem is cast a woman that can make action scene, for the eventual ''becoming Star Shappire'' thing.

Whoa! I didn't realize he was that old. Shows how much I know. Guy ages well though.

As for Michael C. Hall, he's an amazing actor, but the idea of him as Hal just doesn't fly with me. He just seems too creepy. But he could surprise me. You never know.

At the time I first suggested Hall, I acknowledged it was a choice waaaaay out of left-field. But I actually felt that it's BECAUSE it was a far-from-obvious choice that it worked so well. Plus, if you look at "Dexter", then "Six Feet Under", you can see what remarkable diversity he has as an actor.

This isn't saying that Michael C. Hall is my only choice for Hal Jordan, or even my first choice. Honestly, there's no one guy in mind who I think would be THE perfect fit for Hal.

How about Viggo Mortensen for Sinestro?

I dunno. Viggo is a great actor, but he reportedly turned down the role of Ra's al Ghul in "Batman Begins". So would he be interested in playing Sinestro?

Plus, if he WAS interested in playing a comic book villain, I'd sign him up for Deathstroke.

My understanding is that many of hollywood's A list players are reconsidering these type of roles for a number of reasons. The biggest being BO clout. The second being that there is no longer the stigma of being typecast as there used to be. Not to mention the quality of projects available. Keep in mind that WB is emulating Marvels game plan so they will be more than likely looking for well known established actors. There are a lot of well known names chomping at the bit that would really surprise you!!:word:
