Really?!?!

I mean, i'm not saying the guy's a terrible actor necessarily, but to really compare him to Robert Downey Jr.... I just dont see the comparisons.

If they want to mimic the casting of Iron Man, they'd go with someone like Gosling or Affleck. Not some generic tv actor who kinda looks like the character. I can't see Ackles bringing anything to the role worth getting excited about, which is what Downey did.

I like both Gosling and Affleck as actors, but not as Hal. I think Gosling would be much more suited to Barry Allen and Affleck to Ray Palmer.

I still believe that Sam Worthington should play Hal. He'd nail it.

He's going to be in Terminator Salvation and James Cameron's Avatar. So, we'll have a chance to avaliate his acting skills.

Definitely I'm especially looking forward to Terminator Salvation. I want to see how much McG has grown as a director, and Worthington's performance, as looks wise I can see him as several different comic characters.
