I really like him. He's the right age for the script and he definitely feels very "Hal Jordan" to me... Anyone whos seen him in ER knows he could do the role with his eyes closed too.

Yes, Shane West was Ross choice for Wally flash, I happen to agree with it, at the time.

If Hamm had a meeting, and they've indeed been looking for Hal's in their thirties, I have a few choices 'd choose before him, but I'd be supportive of it.

Good point, the only actor I can see as Hal that's around the same age as Hal is in the scirpt is Scott Porter.

I still don't know why they don't just go after Josh Duhamel for Hal Jordan.

You know, I actually considered John Hamm for the part, but then dismissed him when I looked him up on iMDB and concluded he was too old for the Hal of the script. Good actor, though, wouldn't mind him getting it if they did end up altering Hal's age.
