He could be the 1st to do Both but I HIGHLY doubt it.
1) No Deadpool spin-off. I don't think Marvel is going to take kindly to the actor that played just one of their characters going on to headline a major franchise from their rival company.
2) Probably no Flash movie in the works, either. With Reynolds pulling to play the Flash for so long, it makes it seem likely that a Flash movie won't really happen.
You never know though.

No Flash was a given, and Reynolds is not getting any younger. This was the best opportunity for him and I am glad that he was offered the role and he took it. Mark my word, there will be somebody else that will fit the role of the Flash just fine and we will all be satisfied with the choice when it does happen.
why won't people just let go of cooper?
To be fair, he's kinda like that troughout the Script. And part of me is thinking of about the very real possibility that Hal Jordan will be a snarky smart ass with a wide repetoire of witty quips and one liners![]()

In terms of deadpool. Get real guys, what actor actually wants to play a character who doesnt have his face shown through the whole film. Thats why guys like doug jones do that. They could get anyone to play deadpool and just have a voice over.
out of the three selections, i would've picked Bradley Cooper as GL (because Reynolds has always been my Flash). Cooper just fits the mold of Jordan better than the other two. but i have no qualms with Reynolds as GL, so long as he plays it like Hal Jordan and not Wally West with a power ring. and the work i've seen Reynolds do, i'm confident he can deliver what is required.
but i must say, whoever Flash will be, has to be funnier than Reynolds. and that my friends will be a tough find.
Well we dont know about the script so I dont think we can say how much he will have his mask on and offThis statement is getting insanely annoying. For one, Reynold's wants to play that character. And secondly, Deadpool takes his mask off. And parts of the film would be told in flashbacks anyway. In the end you'd see as much of him with and without a mask as you would in any other comic book flick.

But ya Reynolds expressed alot of interest in playing Deadpool
Reynolds doesnt mess around I dont think he'll give a bad performanceI don't know what to think of this.
Part of me is anticipating Ryan Reynolds to pull a Michael Keaton and totally prove the nay sayers wrong.

Will wait and see...
I agree.Which makes RR a total phony if he blew off Deadpool for GL. Hopefully, Deadpool wasn't really happening and that is why signed onto GL.
Stars are a lot more bankable than artists and writers.Based on what? Artists and writers have gone between the companies why not actors
About Deadpool: Not really. Along with Venom, Deadpool may have had one of the worst adaptations on the silver screen. I'm kind of hoping both of those movies died.Do you really think that was going to happen? They had to sell the film to Marvel first and all they had was Reynolds (there was no story or director). If you want to look at it that way, now Marvel could go after Cris Pine for that role. But in all honesty, after what happend with The Punisher, do you really think that Deadpool was going to happen?
