So, who thinks there will be another casting anouncement this week?

I was iffy on Ryan at first, but I just watched 'The Nines' and now I'm sold on him. He was really great as the three different characters. He normally doesn't get a chance to play roles outside of the goofy/g-baggish kind of guy.

This is Reynolds's chance at a breakout role that will show a wide audience that he's capable of being a major star who can do comedy, drama, and action. I don't see him hamming it up or being overly goofy. Plus Martin Campbell isn't a director given to too much goofy humor in his films.

Especially if they do "Rebirth".

Im still lukewarm about it...the movie is still about 2 years away and shooting isn't starting for at least 6-8 months

Lots of things. I mean, this movie has been pushed back twice already. It was supposed to start filming in November, now it's January.

The economy....the PTB maybe think that its not worth the investment....a myriad of things can kill a movie

That's a ludicrous analogy. Having an optimistic outlook in life doesn't mean blithely placing yourself in danger.
