I don't want Paul Giamatti as Hector for some reason. I know the man who does great dramas and he's a wonderful actor but as Hector, it seems to be on the nose; it'll probably make the character too comedic since Hector (as far as I know) doesn't have a lot of dramatic scenes.

I would rather get some one who you wouldn't expect to play Hector.

he was God awful in Gran Torino.

I know he's suppose to be an awkward kid, but that was just awkward acting. And I don't care if it was his first movie either.

I mean he made GoldenEye and then got out of the Bond franchise until Casino Royale and did the same thing

He doesnt seem like a director who does many sequels. Do you think he will with this one?

Well i guess its all down to how the film process goes. How he feels about the property after the film is out. And what ever contract deal he signed with wb.

yeah, i know that and i also know that those were the people being talked about to actually be cast as hal. but i would like to see how many other people felt the same as me and didnt want any of them to be cast.

pretty solid. I was actually going to say Niall Matter for Kyle after watching Eureka, didn't know if anyone else mentioned him. But there he is. Don't know about Jamie Foxx for John though.

everybody is that's part of the reason y i dont like him for hal because too many people want him for that and alot of other roles. if i were to pick out of the three it would be ryan cause he looks the most like him. bradley cooper as far as i know hasnt really played a character like hal and i dont think he would do all that good of a job.

I think that's more on Bond than on Campbell. Bond has always been a series that is producer-driven rather than director-driven. The directors have been interchangable ever since original director Terence Young departed the series after Thunderball. I remember hearing they prefer to cycle directors to keep things fresh.

Between The Kingdom and Jarhead, he can definitely play the bull-headed military types. And he would bring a lot of personality to what many consider to be a boring character

Turning 29 soon (4 years younger than Ryan), but he could play younger IMO.
