I think First Flight got it right, Michael Madsen would make a great Kilowog in my opinion. Using costumes and effects similar to Where The Wild Things Are. He has a great voice for it.

I think Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory would be a suitable Tomar-Re as well.

I love the choice of reynolds and i fully support him as hal

but ive been watching ALOT od NCIS lately and I can't help but think of how AWESOME and AMAZING Micheal Weatherly could have been if he was cast as Hal :

personally i rather stick to phsyical actors in suits/makeup with some cgi enhancements. then blowing more money to make a fully cgi gls. Now only ones who should be totally cgi is that planet gl, maybe that squrial gl, and any of the more wacky looking alien gls. But the more humoid ones should be actual actors.

I much prefer real and tangible prosthetic suits and make-up for humanoid aliens anyways, to be honest.

Use the CGI for space, space-ships and flight and flight sequences.

I read this on slash film. It sounded like the guy heard some news but doesn't know if it's official or not. Count it as a rumor for now but he/she sounds vaguely geniune in how he/she wrote it.

Could we have our Tom Kalumaku? :

I know that Native American actor Adam Beach (Flags of Our Fathers, Windtalkers, Joe Dirt) has been cast in the film, but I'm not sure for which role. Also not sure if that is supposed to be a secret (it is not on IMDB) so I am not putting my name on this post. I guess that I could also just refrain from mentioning that, but it seems if Ryan Reynolds has already been revealed, that supporting cast isn't too big a deal.

well tom role isnt to big of a role right, i dont know much of the character, but i think this guy if picked would probably do well.

Ken's a funny dude but if this Adam Beach rumor rings true, it tells us two things:

1. If they couldn't get Inuit actors, they were probably looking at Native Americans instead of Asian-Americans.

2. If a comedic actor like Ken Jeung was cast as Tom, he would have probaby been Hal Jordan's funny sidekick.

Now, if they got square-jawed, leading man type Adam Beach, then I can see Tom being Hal's best friend who happens to have a good sense of humor. I

That probably means that they rewrote Tom's character and his dynamic with Hal. Still funny but he's no longer the type playing the X-Box and living with his mom. Think of Rhodey from Iron Man, but more laid back.
