hoffman as penguin would rock. people mock burtons take on the penguin, but as burton himself said thepenguin is one of batman's duller bad guys, i just hope hoffman can bring something new and interesting to the role should he be cast (IMO though danny devito did a great job back in 1992)

The pinnochio nose i can do without. Why does every street name a villain has have to be literal somehow? Hes heavy, he wears tuxedos. And someone gave him a nick. Simple.

It HAS to be pointed. You can't have Penguin without a pointed nose.

I could care less if they don't give him a pointy nose and I would actually prefer that they don't give him a freakish looking nose. It just wouldn't fit into this batman movie universe. I think light prosthetics to make Hoffman's nose a tad larger would be fine, but then again i would probably prefer for them to just leave him as is.

the penguin has to have a pointed nose, dosent have to be over the top but pointed nontheless, the penguin without his nose is like the joker without his white hace, green hair, its part of the charicter and there history.
