Official Hot Fuzz movie thread (Pics/reviews/info etc.)

About as good as comedies/spoofs get with a brilliant satire on an area being brainwashed by the delusion of peace.

Probably better than Shaun of the Dead (which I loved), and it blows the doors off Blades of Glory (which I enjoyed quite a bit) as the best comedy of the year.

It's loaded with priceless moments and in it's own way which as charming as it is peculiar, it even works as an adrenaile pumping action movie.

I plan on seeing this next weekend. I'm a bit busy with school to go the movies.
I wanna see Vacancy too, but I wanna see Hot Fuzz more.

Saw it this weekend. Loved the hell out of it. It was very entertaining and fun, and I will def pick it up on DVD.:up:

9/10

Me and my friends saw it two days ago and we haven't stopped saying yarp/narp. lol An amazingly awesome movie, can't wait to get it on DVD.

Hilarious, this movie was drop dead funny! the "shooting in the air while screaming" ongoing joke had the biggest pay off laughter and applause i've ever heard from a crowd at a comedy. Only matched by Borat in the end of that movie when he yelled "Not!" at Pamela Anderson.
Hopefully Hot Fuzz will start to catch on with good word of mouth and expand in the upcoming weeks. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are probably the best comedic duo to come out in a long time.

I thought this movie made Borat look like home alone 3

I cant stop saying yarp now, its like a reflex. It has the downfall though that when I say it infront of people unfamiliar with the film, they get....confused, lol XD

Saw it today. Loved it-these guys have got a great thing going. Definately getting the DVD.

Yarp.

Great movie, pretty funny but the last 30 minutes were frickin awesome. :woot: 8/10

The boys behind HOT FUZZ continue to impress as their film continues to rake in the bucks, with another $5M added to its total, while it still averages the highest per-theater amount of all the films in the top 10. Good ****e, guys!

Yaaay!!! One of the few films that deserves all that money.
I'm glad The Condemned bombed BTW.:woot:

Can't wait to see this again.

And I also can't wait for the third part of the Blood&Icecream trilogy. :D

But how they will fit cornetto cream into a scfi film is beyond me :p

so they have hinted toward, wont be out any time soon tho, Nick and simon are working on another film without edgar directing, and then when edgar finishes antman they will be all back together.

They dont want to say what the next film will be because of what happened with hot fuzz "where HF, whens HF coming out??" so they have only hinted at scfi,

sure fire bet tho ;)

I can't wait for their third already. Shaun and Fuzz are 2 exceptionally awesome films...

Hilarious movie. Dragged a bit though. 9/10.

I loved the Romeo + Juliet "play" scene.
