Official Hulk Poster!!!

I don't think the Harrison credit is anything to be worried about. He's used it before (as a previous poster pointed out) - editing "Down in the Valley" back in '05.

A lot of actors like to use diffrent names when it comes to writing.

Great poster. Very comic-booky. Banner and the Hulk in this new take feels very different from the past take on the Hulk.

Yikes,I'm worried about the Ed Harrison thing.

Then again,if Ed really wanted to distance himself from this,I'm sure he would use something less obvious.

I wouldn't be worried about the alias

I know they're not actors, but Steven Soderbergh is credited as Peter Andrews when he does the cinematography of his films, and the coen bros use roderick jaynes when they edit.

The alias thing isn't always a reason to be afraid, now if it said written by alan smithee, then we would be in deep s**t!

Looking forward to the film, and I'll be there opening day, but the poster is too "cartoony" for my taste. It is different and more like the TV series, so that's a plus.

I'm not sure how you can make a poster about the Hulk not look cartoony.

easy, dont have hulk on it... like just have the cast with a shade of green or a green eyeball or something in banners eyes that kinda subtle thing.

as for being more like the tv series, hella yeah. love the show, i never read the comics so im not gonna be b****ing down the flicks throat about its accuracies or inaccuracies...

I like the poster. It shows a man suffering under a great burden (edit) plus it shows quite a bit of action in the background.

I like the poster. It shows a man suffering under a great burden. The only thing is that it also looks a bit more like the 2003 movie in so far as there is no indication of any action one could get from the poster.

You sure about no action being indicated?

I see helicopters and tanks in the background.

That's action.

After reading your post and taking another look at the poster I have one thing to say:

I should take a better look at things before I post about them. :o Well I can always, edit which is what I will do. :p

We really need some kind of clarification about the whole Norton/Harrison fiasco. All we have now are assumptions. We need FACTS.

It's safe to assume this poster is a take on ASM. They're fully aware of what they did.

Great poster!

It's got the TV Show and a comic book vibe to it. Very well thought out artfully and metaphorically.

And don't worry about the Edward Harrison thing ok, it is nothing.

I'm sure we will get more posters with more Hulk.

Oh and we are gonna get quite a few new movie stills soon too!

Look out for them!

Can i ask how you know that for sure Sarg?

Well that's good to hear.

A little unoriginal? You want qualifiers? The Hulk pose looks like it's ripped from the Triple X poster (Vin Diesel), Norton looks the same like Wahlberg on the Rock Star movie poster (bag included) and the background looks like a screenshot from Cloverfield. And why am I being considered a troll when everything about this movie 'lacks' in every single way. This is a 150 million dollar movie and they come up with THIS? I'm dissapointed with almost everything that has to do with this movie, that's all.

Seriously though, a lot of people like it and I think there's some merit to what they're saying/feeling. Plus, with it being the case that it's pretty difficult to come up with a completely original idea anymore, I don't know how one better portrays the inner conflict between Banner and the Hulk than to have them back-to-back as shown.

Thus, just because you've seen other posters that would appear to make the TIH poster a knockoff doesn't mean it really is a knockoff. It's just a knockoff to you. The problem, if anything, is timing. If this poster came out before those other posters, then you'd be saying they were knockoffs instead. So the whole original/unoriginal argument really is rather silly. Likewise for people who say it looks Photoshopped. It seems holograms are the wave of the future for these people.

And "everything about this movie 'lacks' in every single way"? Come on dude. No one here believes that except you. But that's not what makes you a troll. What makes you a troll is the fact you feel the need to tell us "everything about this movie 'lacks' in every single way" and, until recently, had only said "it sucks" with no backup. Why don't you just leave? Why pain yourself to stick around to read the comments of a movie you otherwise are going to hate, no matter what anyone says? Do you foresee yourself ever seeing the light? By the sounds of it, I don't think you will.

Going back to the poster, though, I actually do tend to agree with you and others who express disappointment. (I just happen to see there are ways to argue every which side of the coin.) The problem for me, in addition to just not be able to see Norton as a 'lonely man,' is, well, some of the things I've just argued against... it looks too ordinary (something anyone with Photoshop could do) and is rather plain (unoriginal). Especially for a $150 million movie, as you point out. But therein lies its simplicity, which a lot of people are digging. For them, it's more comic book-like and I can appreciate that myself.

Funny thing is that Batman's posters are in the same boat. They look as though they are covers from a comic book. But on a positive note, are not these comic book movies? We ask as fans to make sure they remain as true to the comics and then many complain that it looks too "cartoony" or too "comic booky". If you compare TDK's first teaser to TIH's first, there is no comparison (venting). A voice over to actual footage. The poster is fine. It has a comic book feel to it, but that is what they (Marvel) wanted.
