Cool pictures. You think we'll ever get a glimpse of the vampires? Yes, I know they're not vampires in the film, but after reading the book I view them as vampires since they carry the same characteristics.

Or do you think they'll keep the look of the vampires hidden until the release date? I sincerely hope they look somewhat similar to the 30 Days Of Night vampires or more creepier/evil looking.

From the script; [blackout]they're all very slim and muscular, with white/translucent skin which you can see their muscles, veins, and arteries through. They're all completely hairless. And I believe there was something in there about them covering themselves in white ash and dirt, as sort of a low-strength sunblock. Not that they're walking out in the sun or anything, but just as extra protection in case a stray ray of light happens to hit them.[/blackout]

With absolutely no one cleaning, repairing, or using any of it. Plus you need to incorporate the weather and all of the riots that took place before everyone died and/or turned into a vampire.

I'm sure we'll get a faithful translation of the book eventually. It might be twenty years from now, but we'll get it. Until then, we have The Last Man on Earth. I've still got a lot of faith in this movie though. It could be very good, even if it's different from the book.

Honestly if anyone wants to make a faithful version of I AM LEGEND , they better make it an indie flick. BEcause IMO the story is just not suitable for a blockbuster so spending million in making it is too a waste of money.
Take a look at A Scanner Darkly. It's very faithful to the book and it didn't need that much money. Eve if they shot it as a live-action flick it didn't need more then 20 million.

Here is a fanmade teaser trailer made by a guy on Youtube. He is a fan of the book and it's an amazing trailer that creates a creepy tense atmosphere.

It's interesting to note that everything I imagined from the book was captured perfectly in this trailer in my opinion. What kept it from being perfect was the classic line "COME OUT NEVILLE" not being included.
