Where are the women in this movie, just wandering because it looks like a bunch of shirtless guys. And the vampires kinda look like Gollum from "Lord of the Rings".

The new trailer is up on IGN now. It turns out that the one that came out earlier was the international trailer. This one is completely different. It also happens to be completely amazing. Everyone check it out!

This one totally smokes the other trailer, great atmosphere and build, looks like the great visuals will be matched with the Isolation and pain of the lead character.

Well, actually, yeah, the domestic trailer is better... but the music at the end ruins it for me. C'mon, something creepier, moodier, or epic (like the Int'l trailer has).

@ hunter rider: I don't know. I would have prefered the music at the end to be a lot darker and creepier. Anyway, other than that, perfect trailer. I've seen it a few more times now and it's defo better than the Int'l trailer, even though I prefer the other one's music.

P.S.: I can already see the shot where the vampires are around Neville becoming a classic. What do you mean?

Depends on which one of the trailers is being referred to. One of them definitely has the track "Death is the Road to Awe" playing at the end.

And since they were discussing the domestic trailer...

yes it is, the US trailer from ign.com has the track from "the fountain" playing at the end
(we heard it in "the mist" trailers too)

There are two trailers at IGN & that track is not in the newest trailer that got online yesterday. Everyone here is talking about the new trailer & not the old one. There is a difference between the trailers & the attention is on the newest trailer from yesterday.

Saw the new trailer, there´s definitely a slight eco of I, Robot, if nothing else for being a sci-fi thriller with Will Smith, but even though Akiva did a draft, this one seemed nicely sober and serious, without so many one-liners, I like how it takes the time to show his solitary, seemingly dull existence till the unease grows and the horror is revealed. Sounds promising, and a fit movie to have the full trailer for The Dark Knight.

They really do need to explain that one. And it still bugs me that the creatures don't fear Smith, but are chasing his ass. When in the story, while they are fearsome, they're still creeped out by him because of his hunting of them. Are there any females in the cast that aren't just there before the outbreak takes place?

the trailer is awesome.
now I'm hyped for the movie.

Well, in the book, the vampires do chase him and are trying to kill him all the time. This is one of the main problems I have with this film at the moment. It seems completely foreign and doesn't appear to follow the book.

I know people will defend it and say we're being closed minded. But in the end, the book told a brilliant story. If anything this seems to be a mindless action half assed attempt at trying to adapt a classic.

As I said before, without Ben Cortman, Ruth, and Virginia the story has no heart.
