He only produced Constantine. I don't think even Francis Lawrence can make this good. I like Alex Proyas but I, Robot was bad. And here's again the Goldsman/Smith team working.

I agree with ya on I,ROBOT. Even as a standalone movie it sucked and i know that the pairing of Goldsman and Smith raped everything of the book.
I'm a fan of The Crow and a BIG fan of Dark City but like all directors have their bad moments , so did Proyas have his utterly bad moment with I,ROBOT.

I know they've already f-ed up the book I AM LEGEND. I wish they had at least stuck to the Protosevich script cause the book itself tends to be more of a dramatic movie as opposed to an action movie.
The Protosevich script IMO was quite good , despite the Hollywood ending. A few tweaks here and there to at least keep the action elements while at the same time also be closer to the thematic elements of the book would be great IMO. YOu get the best of both worlds. An intelligent storyline with action. You can keep the audience's attention focused .

But from what i've seen , ALOT has been changed. And of course the dreaded pairing of SMith and Goldsman is really scary.
I'm still going to see the flick and just judge it as a standalone flick. And also because i'm very interested to see what Francis Lawrence's next flick will look like. Say what you want about Constantine , as a standalone movie is was amazing.

Well some psters here are claiming them to be Will Smith pics of I,ROBOT , otherts claim them to be fanmade posters from IMDB.

I'll say it again. If it's fake, well at least it was worth trying then do nothing at all. If it's real , well i personally like the first poster. Don't like the second one.

The book is an anthology...All they did for the movie was make up a story set in the same universe in order to avoid the problems associated with adapting said book. Alex Proyas is an excellent film maker and everything except for Will Smith was fantastic in that movie.

What I was saying was that they should have adapted the book, instead of making that horrible action movie. Alex Proyas is great, just not when he did I, Robot.

I just read the book, and I ending up liking it was good, I liked the last part more, cant wait to see who plays some characters.

Why? He makes them money. He's even proven he doesn't even need a sci-fi/action film to make a studio over a hundred million dollars with Hitch, and now with Pursuit of Happyness.
