What are the vampires like in the book? Are they intelligent? Or just blood thirsty monsters? Do they have a leader?

They're not zombies. They sleep during the day and come out at night and try to feed on Neville. Of course they don't manage to get him so they feed on their own(the women anyway).

From the teaser it looked like the vampires got ahold of the helicopter and blew up the bridge

.....It wasn't a helicopter it was a fighter jet and it was the US military blowing up the bridge to section off NYC

ohhhh ok, that make sense. I thought the vampires already existed and they created a new type of virus which would make every Human into a Vampire! They put the virus in a missle and they launch it into a bridge in NYC

i was so excited when I heard about this movie. I love the book!
then I heard it was in NYC. "okay" I said "i'll let it go"
Then I heard Fresh Prince was in it. "huh, well... huh, thats an odd choice. Not much of an actor but what can i do?"
Then i saw the trailer................... I hate hollywood...........!!!!!

I went into Oceans 13 not expecting the trailer and not remembering what the plot of the film was about... but, I literally got 9/11 goosebumps during the beginning part of the teaser. The imagery just really scared the hell out of me... as I said with the whole 9/11 and NYC vibe.

Looks cool though.

This was a really good teaser.

It did exactly what it was made for. It teased me.
I don't understand why so many of the posters here proclaim that the teaser sucks and all that when it is a teaser. It's not a full length trailer. The teaser set the tone of the movie, and gave the premise of the whole movie. Just because we didn't see any action or horror scenes doesn't take anything away. Besides, Will Smith is the shizniz.

Since they're using the title I really do hope they make it a point to actually have the significance of the title in the movie.

I agree thats what I liked about it and the ending, I was explaing that to my friend last night, as they wanted to know the story and ended up telling the whole thing lol but that's what I liked about it so lets hope it ends with that.

but in the book I don't remeber that Bridge blowing up lol.

But I hope this film is good, most Will Smith ones I have seen are and its a good book and story.

There was no bridge. Heck the book wasn't even set in New York if I remember. That and the dog never hung out with him, it just ran away every sigle time. If anything this movie is just taking the vamps, the name of the book, and the name of the main character and thats it.

True we only know what we have seen so far, but it might be more like the book, you can't say till you see the film.

But most films are set in New York so no suprise they changed it lol,.
