Really why is Rhodey still so dependent on traditional ammo? I mean his multiple weapons allow him to be ready for anything but he should certainly be able to continue the fight even when he runs out of bullets. After that little War Machine mini I expected more.

Iron Man: The Death of Tony Stark

Never. Who knows what horrors he might unleash in Thor if he had a chance to turn his full attention to it? :csad:

Well Fraction needs to pick one. There can be Van Lente, Hickman or Gillen to pick up the duty.

There should be a rule that each of the big 7 (Spidey, Thor, Hulk, Steve Rogers, Wolverine, Shellhead, Hornhead) has to be written by one exclusive writer, although that writer can still do secondary projects like teams or B-listers.

lmao, I feel for you, I really do. :csad:

Man this was so disappointing, we get a year of Tony on the run, getting dumber and dumber with a couple of issues of Iron Man action, then we get 5 months of him in a coma, ok I can deal with that, they're trying to end Dark Reign and Stark Disassembled is actually pretty good, but this is effen ridiculous!

This story was 9 issues with only 1 1/2 of Iron Man action! :cmad: WTF!? Where was the "Be prepared to see the new suit and what it does" What does it do? So far offensively it's the same as the old suits and I only know that because of the way other writers have depicted it (Avengers, the Thor/IM mini and a few others). The really only new thing is those lights all over him are his "eyes". So far the only impressive thing I've seen the suit do is stop Juggernaut in his tracks and that was in the Thunderbolts book.

Good grief, this last issue took the cake, there was a car chase, some one hacked the drones and then that was it. I'm not expecting Wait yes I am expecting Micheal Bay type explosions in this book, I can understand it in the movies, which I'm also getting to wits end with the lack of action in those, but this is a comic, we have Tony Stark's most sleekest sophisticated suit whose supposed offensive capabilities "that put battle ships to shame", we have a new badass looking villain built by Hammer Industries and hundreds of drones trying to kill him and all we get at the end is people talking it out to end the fighting.:facepalm::barf:

I was looking forward to Mandarins return until I saw the abomination Fraction did to him in the Annual, I was looking forward to issue 500 until this, put that combination into 500 and oh boy I can just imagine what we're going to get.

The last issue at least had some action in it, making it slightly more tolerable than the rest of Fraction's run has been

In this thrilling issue of Iron Man: Tony Stark looks pensive for panels--yea, even whole pages--at a time! Perfect jumping-on point for new insomniacs readers! :awesome:

I liked that little wordless, day in the life thing they had at the end of last issue.

I'm not saying Fraction doesn't have a good issue now and then. But I just can't stick with the series through the long gaps between those.

It's true, only reason I got this issue is because Marvel didn't switch my IM Sub over to FF yet. Otherwise I woulda been off this book two issues ago. Guy seems to have a hard time getting to the f**king point with Iron Man.

You're saying you don't like 9-issue arcs with lots of dramatic pauses and technobabble? :wow:

They were going to do a Madame Masque arc damn it!

A MADAME MASQUE arc! :cmad:

Why do the good one's always die young!

I remember Fraction said he had pitched everything up to Most Wanted when getting Invincible Iron Man and it has really REALLY showed.

I'm actually stunned at the anti-Fraction groundswell on these pages. Personally, I think he's an exceptional writer and his entire Invincible Iron Man run has been the best the character has EVER been and I've been reading for decades.
