Thought this would be a fun idea..basically think of an original character you'd like to see on the show. The catch: they HAVE to have an effect on 1 or more characters that forces that character to evolve. I guess I'll start.

Ricky Petrelli- Ricky is Peter's cousin. 22-23. Power: empathic mimicry. Before the show's timeline (about 13years), Ricky's parents were murdered by Arthur, though Ricky was the actual target because Arthur saw him as an eventual rival. As a result, Ricky is a smart-mouthed, vengeful antihero with a bit of a smoking habit. Ricky's first acquired power is Ability Detection, courtesy of his mother, and his second was flight, courtesy of his father--this also explains Nathan's ability, even though it was synthetic. When Ricky shows up, he's looking for answers to his parents' murder and has also gained a lot more abilities because of his travels. He basically fills the void in Peter's life left by Nathan's death, and forces Peter to see that TRUE power is being able to decide who lives and who dies. Ricky is also a capable hand to hand fighter, and can hold his own against assassins like Edgar or even Sylar. His ultimate goal, however, is the obliteration of the Company.

I don't want anymore family member super humans.

The Steel Man: Power: Multiple powers-- magnetism, lightning, steel skeleton, steel skin (metal mimicry), and flight (because of magnetism and the steel skeleton). Why? Epic force lightning battles. Sylar needs someone powerful enough to put up a fight.

Uluru: Power: Multiple powers-- manifestation of stone/crystalline body, pyrokinesis, strength. What's the angle? Hulk meets Hellboy. Uluru has to do something to change the world, the kind of thing the heroes have been trying to stop for years, like with the explosion in New York and the virus killing billions.

Eclipse: Power: Light manipulation, invisibility, ability to absorb all light (total blackness), ability to generate light (flash grenade style), ability to become protons (thus able to travel at the speed of light), holographic abilities, and ability to focus protons to fire lasers.

Too unrealistic for budgetary reasons, but a character like Eclipse would be pretty badass

They've already done super strength and cgi fire and lightning-- the only thing new; special effects wise, would be the makeup.

What costs too much money (and doesn't make for a good fight) is Samuel's power, destroying whole cities.

I think the real problem with Samuel's power is that what's been shown thus far is actually too epic. They need to show more subtle uses of his power, like trapping someone by their legs or something. Basically add more finesse

I mentioned this one in a similar thread. My idea was of a hero who is sort of a combination of the Thing and Superman.

The guy's power is super molecular density. He looks like a normal fit guy, but he weighs around 700 pounds. This molecular density gives him tremendous strength and makes him virtually invulnerable(not Claire invulnerable, bullets bounce of the chest invulnerable). Problem is he has to be extremely tender and careful so as not to harm anyone, which means he can't have a physical relationship. He's difficult to rescue because of his weight, and when grip his hand it feels like leather wrapped around a stone.

Heroes always lacked a physical powerhouse, and that's when I thought of it.

The Burning Man: Original Power: Tissue regeneration. Synthetic Power: Pyrokinesis, full body fire manifestation, explosive flight.
He would be a villain.
Peter would learn how to use his new synthetic power and take the Burning Man's power permanently (and the character would instantly age into his 90s).

I got one

A Hero that comes to lock up NBC studios holding sets for 'Heroes'

.. for good

Captain Obvious. His power? To tell people what they already know.

e.g. - in the middle of a fight.
PETER: How are we gonna take down Sylar, Captain Obvious?
CAPT OBVIOUS: Barack Obama is the President of the United States.

Name-Deus (Vladmir Trotsky)
age-20
power- Negative expulsion (releases a negative self that is completely black, when released he becomes unconcious, that cannot be hurt by physical objects. when it touches living tissue it kills it instantly. Can only be sustained for about 15 seconds before returning to the body. If does not return to body Deus turns comatose)
Relation to series- Former level five prisoner, whom planned his own escape by releasing his negative for an extended period causing him to slp into a coma. Soon, transfered to a company medical holding center. The US govenment presses the New Company to reawaken him as an asset in Posthuman collection.
Other facts- little is known about him found by company in russia by the company as a child after hearing about an entire Russian mafia cell being killed. His actions are very strange, He often stares at inanimate objects and talks to himself. He has recently developed an obsession with mythological creatures known as the Owlmen, whom bare a uncanny resembalance to his negative form.
Future - he finds that he in fact is not a posthuman but, something completely different, he is a half-descendant of a group of sentient beings that give the heroes thier power. Will eventually change the world by convincing the other power granters to reveal themselves to the world as gods.
