TO PREPARE FOR THE CONFRONTATION AHEAD, HIRO (MASI OKA) EXPLORES WHAT FORCES -- AND FAMILIAR FACES -- HELPED TWIST SYLAR (ZACHARY QUINTO), FLINT (BLAKE SHIELDS) AND ARTHUR PETRELLI (ROBERT FORSTER) INTO VILLAINS -- MALCOLM MCDOWELL, ERIC ROBERTS, KRISTEN BELL AND JESSALYN GILSIG ALSO GUEST STAR -- To prepare for the confrontation ahead, Hiro (Masi Oka) follows respected businessman, husband and father Arthur Petrelli (guest star Robert Forster) in the days before he “died” -- to discover what drove him to create rival company Pinehearst and strike at Angela (Cristine Rose). Later, a moment unfolds where Sylar (Zachary Quinto), horrified and guilt-ridden, might have stopped his murderous pursuit of abilities -- that is, if H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) and Elle (guest star Kristen Bell) had swayed from their monstrous assignment. Finally, under the wing of Company man Thompson (guest star Eric Roberts), agent-in-training Meredith (guest star Jessalyn Gelsig) watches her new life go up in smoke, following the arrival of her hot-headed brother. Greg Grunberg, James Kyson Lee, Ali Larter, Hayden Panettiere, Adrian Pasdar, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Dania Ramirez and Milo Ventimiglia also star. Jimmy Jean-Louis, Malcolm McDowell, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Ron Perkins, Blake Shields, and Jeff Staron guest star.

but she's been working with the company. That's pretty cool.

Can you not wait a few weeks til the ep is actually going to air? Or must YOU be the one to start the topic?

I believe you'll find surprisingly few people who agree with you on that. It's like telling the folks over at the Comic Books board to stop putting up the comic book diamond lists or what have you as soon as they find the information. So, while I appreciate your view, I'll have to say there is a reason why it's called "news".

Thanks for posting that, spider_man_2. I like getting these synopses as soon as possible.

As do I, and I like to share as well so I can gauge other fans' reactions and read their comments.

Judging by the fact that this episode is supposed to heavily feature Flint and the fact that hey described Meredith's brother as hot headed, I'm gonna go ahead and assume Claire has yet another uncle.

Yea Ive been thinking the same thing every since i read a profile on flint like 2 months ago saying hes texan and connected to a hero

I saw that coming as well .

Flint - Blue Fire

Meredith - Red Hot Fire

I think its wrong to have Hiro research the Mr.P stuff. If any one should be doing this it should have been Peter and Nathan, than it'd explaine every thing to them. Syler should be there two, although it'd probaly make him more angry to find out every thing that happened. Well at least will get some more confrontation betweem Peter/Mr.P/Syler yah?

Here's the Canadian promo for the Nov. 10th episode:

So was that his dad trying to kill Nathan? I swear that was in Volume 1 when Nathan and his wife got hurt.
I don't know why he'd try to kill Nathan though. Also who was that guy Syler was trying to kill agiant the wall? I'd LOL so much if that was past Peter, in his college days buhahaha.

It was season one but it being his dad's fault is quite a revelation.

Hmm I saw that it was his dad, but what I'm trying to figure out is why he'd try to kill Nathan. Did he do that to push him to be president some how? I mean I thought they had a close relationship.

I got the distinct impression from the promo that Elle was interested in Sylar (possibly pretending/playing a role to trap him on behalf of the Company), and then Sylar found her with someone else.

damn, i have to wait for two more weeks for this episode. whats nbc showing next week?

I don't think Nathan had a close relationship with his dad at all. Remember he was trying to get Peter to testify against Arthur in season one. Nathan always had a contempt for his father because he was a lawyer that was protecting Linderman - someone who Nathan thought was a petty mob boss.

Yeah, but in season 1, Nathan told Linderman that Arthur was his hero. I can't imagine him holding Arthur in that much contempt and still calling the guy his hero.
