Her Uncanny uniform is literally another variant of the old training uniform. In fact, it looks more like the training uniform than the current New Mutant uniforms.

I dont want Doug to get an extra power. What set him apart was the fact that he had a power that was neither offensive or defensive. Thats quite rare for any hero. He had a certain amount of innocence that made him interesting and his relationship with Warlock was one of the shining points of the original series. His death left quite a whole in the series as he was in many ways the heart of the team and things didnt feel the same. He's not one character, I ever expected to see back nor would have advocated, but if he does indeed return permanantly after the story, I hope he only retains his original power. Not everyone needs to be out on the field fighting on the frontline. He'd make for a great supporting character handling their networking system and computers
Its a pretty risk move of Dani though to [blackout]trust Hela. She made her a demon slave back in the pages of New Mutants. Hela might restore her valkyrie and/or mutant powers, but that might come at the cost of her soul and turn her into a villian[/blackout]
