Official One Tree Hill season 5 thread

So, Rachel's a crack ****e now?

Semantics!

Just because Rachel was using crack, that doesn't mean she's a ****e. Unless you mean she's a ****e to/for crack.

Anyway, I was hoping they'd bring her back and I totally had not picked up on it (in the first episode) that Brooke was talking about her.

Woah...
Haley grabbing Nanny Carrie by the hair and tossing her ass out,
Rachel OD'ing,
Bartender guy beating the s*** outta the drug dealer,
Jamie face-down in the pool.

When did OTH get so f***ing brutal?

I know. I'm not watching it to be completely depressed every time. Plus, I just skipped the scenes with Peyton yelling at the record company guy. *yawn*

Did Haley kiss Chris Keller when she and Nathan were married? She should give Nathan a break. It's not like he slept with Nanny Carrie.

Exxxcellent point, K18. I completely forgot about that. Not only did she kiss him, she left Nathan to go off with Chris. So yeah, some serious breakage is due here.

Glad they saved him at the end but the divorce thing came fast. What ever happened to trial separation?

I agree, but I really think for a woman, it can be the emotion of the moment. Just like when she wouldn't let Nathan explain as he was pushing Carrie out of the shower. But this was even worse, she was already fighting with Nathan and then nearly lost her baby. I can see why she would scream that out, in the moment. But I am hoping cooler heads prevail next week. For at least one half of a season, I'd like to see good things for Nathan and Haley. Too much drama is sometimes just too much.

You and the loud guy remember stuff better than me. :o

Well, if we've learned one thing this week... you dont f*** with Haley, or you get grabbed by the back of your head and thrown out of the house.

I thought she was pretty tame with her. I seriously would have expected a cat fight under those circumstances.

But still, Haley usually keeps her cool. I was surprised she got so physical.

I wish the show would come out with another soundtrack. I love the songs used on the show.

At the risk of sounding like a big girl...Jamie tore my heart right out of my chest last night, and ripped it into a thousand pieces. The kids got talent.

Cant wait til the 100th.

I can't help but love the little guy. And seeing him all sad over Nathan and Haley, that was rough for me.

But dammit, Brooke's mother just lives to be a raging B****!! The woman truly has not one ounce of compassion in her whole body. Thank God Brooke finally booted her ass!

OT: Is Sophia Bush a rabid chain smoker or something. Her voice has been wrecked all season!

Isn't her voice like that all the time? :O

I'm just so glad Brooke finally grew a pair and fired her soulless mother.

I'm also glad that OTH actually found a kid with talent, after so many shows have notoriously hired terrible child actors that eventually ruined everything (Oliver from Brady Bunch, all the girls on Full House, Raven Symone on The Cosby Show, etc.)

yeah Sophia has that raspy voice, but I always found it sexy. And that kid did a perfect job on Tuesday's episode. The look he had on his face when he saw that family play rock band together was heartbreaking. Rachel wanting to "release" some tension with Mouth was funny, but I'm glad he didn't cave in like most guys would have. Lucas' new book must be really good in order for Haley (of all people) to call him up and tell him he shouldn't marry Lindsey.

Awww, it's cute that you guys are big softies for Jimmy Jam. :) How adorable was he holding that rabbit. The way he laughed when Skilz was afraid of it, was priceless.

And I think he has a little crush on Sophia Bush. :D Did you notice the way he looked almost embarrassed when he asked her if Owen was her boyfriend? Cute.

I know. It is getting worse. It sounds like she has something on her vocal chord. I hope she's okay. It used to be kind of sexy, but now it just sounds unhealthy. :( If it gets much worse I think it could affect her career.

Well, who doesnt?

wow, Andy is back. I never thought I would see him again.

100th episode!!!

I remember the time when it was up in the air as to whether OTH would get a 4th season, and now we're at 100 episodes.

oh damn nanny carrie! I knew her arc wasn't finished. Maybe dan will save him from that nut (then again, dan is a nut himself).

"Imma be ya momma now."

...That did not sound right.

Dan is pretty brutal...
"I killed my brother in cold blood. What makes you think I'd have any problem killing you?"
:up::up:

Too bad his hair looks worse than Javier Bardem's on No Country For Old Men.

I'll be honest with you, I'm gonna miss Carrie's hot crazy ass. Her downward spiral was epic. She started out so normal, then turned homewrecker, then downright psychotic. Even Peyton's stalker started out crazy, but Carrie started out pretty sane.

The police sure were acting strange. The first thing they ask Nathan after he tells them his son is missing is if he's being drinking? It was a bit uncalled for.

GO DAN GO! Something tells me we haven't seen the last of Carrie. Maybe they can have "Derek" come back and they can put their heads together and make plans. Derek will stalk Peyton and Carrie will stalk Nathan.

DAMMIT!! I Missed it, what happened?!? Full breakdown of the episode, if anyone has the time to care?!?

To be honest, not a whole helluva lot...
Lindsay realizes, after reading Lucas's new book, that he still loves Peyton. She then leaves him at the altar.
Brooke wants a baby.
Karen, Andy, and Lily return for the wedding.
Dan shows up for the wedding but is turned away by Haley.
Carrie tries to take Jamie, but he is rescued by Dan. Dan chokes Carrie and tells her that if she comes near his family again, he'll kill her.
Dan takes Jamie home, where Jamie tells everyone that his grandpa saved him.

I was hoping for more excitement.

yeah I was kind of disappointed at how not much happened during this episode considering it's the 100th. I mean, I think we all knew Lucas wouldn't end up with Lindsey anyway so that wasn't a surprise. I think the school shooting episode changed the series more than this last episode did.

Yeah, once a show does a school shooting episode, there's not much you can do to top it. 'Cept maybe give a character the AIDS, like they did on the original Degrassi High.

Still mad I missed the episode, though. I'd have loved to see Dan chocking Carrie, the whole time saying to myself, "Is Dan Scott gonna have to choke a b****?":woot:
