Can Lorna please get that costume in 616?

for me Lorna hasnt had a great costume since early on in X-factor, probably her sleeveless blue/yellow one. Im generally not a fan of seeing her in all green but she looks so strong, so fierce here. I am liking the dark shade of green used, unlike her current one which is too light for me. I also dont care for her in capes which is what she's been sporting for the past several years. Overall this costume is a hit for me and a huge step up for Lorna. Its a very well put together design

Her outfits without a cape or headdress send a quite different message then the ones that do. They are less regal, however they can look quite good.

I was just about to come and correct myself bc I did like her 2 Acolyte costumes but unfortunetly we barely saw her with them and she never wore them as an active member of any X team, which is why I forgot. I LOVE Lorna in red/blue. Its my favorite color scheme for her and a great contrast to go with her green hair. I wish they would put her in red more often

that costume is much better in its original color scheme but then again I hate her in all green. Makes her look like Gumby

I made adjustments to Lorna's Exiles costume. Gave her the color scheme Id have wanted on her since Ive always loved her in red

You know who needs to return? Zaladane. I know she apparently got killed off by Magneto around UXM 275 but when has that ever stopped someone from returning. Theres alot of unanswered questions as far as Lorna is concerned in regards to her and she was a good villian. Id love to see her come back and to have their history fleshed out and expanded on. Not sure I see this happening in an ongoing since they dont seem to care for Lorna, but she could so use an Origin limited series

Claremont had plans for that back in 2000 before he was removed again from Uncanny.

I'd love to just post the letter itself for the sake of discussion, but that seems like bad Netiquette. To paraphase, though...

My question was twofold, the first asking:

"I've wondered for years if your older plot threads regarding Polaris and Eric the Red (and Zaladane) would ever be addressed. Polaris' true heritage in the Marvel Universe is something that has always remained unclear, not to mention Eric the Red, whom Nicieza has tied to Sinister in subtle ways since you've been "away" (in early X-Men Volume 2 issues as well as Capt. Marvel
Vol 2 #3)."

That got the "white haird stranger" response, a comment that Chris is unaware of Nicieza's developments, as well as a statement that "both ladies will figure into upcoming X-Men scenarios" (meaning the two sisters, I'd assume in flashback sequence unless there's some bizarre way of undoing Zaladane's much deserved and final fate...). So we'll see some kind of developments, in
the near future, anway.

Incidentally my other question was my usual plea for reverting Warren's skin to normal, particularly now that a) there are two other blue X-Men at the mansion and b) I think it would be a simple matter to explain (as an aftermath of his recent transformations and purging of Apocalypse's powers over in Wolverine #147). Chris only said that he isn't sure of Warren's current state because he doesn't show up in X-Men until #101 (!).Oh well, I didn't get my answer there, but I got more than I asked for on the Lorna question. I guess you win some, you lose some...

Joe Q back in 2005 seemed to be against the idea of Zaladane also being a daughter of Magneto. I think if they bring up Zaladane again their best option is to have her be a genetic creation on the Savage Land from someone like Sinister based on Magneto or Lorna.

The writers in recient years haven't had a template to go on for Lorna's mother which is why I think they avoided Lorna and Magneto meeting up in the 616. Gage in his recient series CW HoM gave them a template to go off of in the character of 'Susanna Dane'. Now they don't have to completely follow the events in Gage's story, but at least they have a template to work from.

I think Marvel would perfer to go down the route of Zaladane and Lorna being half sisters if they ever decide to bring that character up again rather then them being full sisters. Claremont designed Zaladane as a distorted version of Silver Age Magneto. But, I certainly think fans would be yelling overkill if Marvel adds a 4th daughter to Magneto's backstory. The only other way they could do it like I said is have her be a Savage Land genetic creation.

I really want Jean and Lorna on a team too. They've been practically sisters in law and they are supposed to be friends, but we didnt get quite enough of them together over the years. I was hoping for some of that in X-men Hidden Years but they kept they seperate from each other for the majority of that series
