I dunno, is generally one of those people who despises anything man kind has done since the Renissance ended. So if he hates everything people like...and likes this, then couldn't one assume people will hate this?

Or could assume there finally was something so cool he agreed with the rest of people. Glass half full, etc.

As said before it depends. They say he hated the SW prequels, which some people liked, and some people didn't. He believes the LOTR films are overrated, which some agree with and some don't. (I haven't seen them in three years so I can't say.) What if he's one of those people who doesn't hate everything he sees but is difficult to impress? What if he's someone who pays attention to detail and story, something a lot of movies do miss the boat on. You never know.

The guy says it´s a movie about purity or spirit. If Superman is not about that, I don´t know what is.

I still don´t see what´s so extremely "Un-Superman" of this movie that you seem to see. I know you enough to know it´s not the tone of red...

If you see the thread on the press screening response, it looks like a lot of the "non-pedantic jackass" critics agree with him. Anyway, I know, it´s just one opinion, we have to see the movie ourselves, yadda, yadda, but to me it´s nice to know the first "official" comment on the movie is positive, just that.

The negative people are known to do double standard too. When the negative fake review showed up, some people here tried hard to make it look real.
