Since I only recently got my XBOX, I was able to get SFIV for five bucks from a coworker, so I'll earn some extra achievements.

I cant believe none of you guys put this up here yet!!!

I know there is a short film coming out soon on youtube with two trailers out already...I saw it posted in the last page.

However, another group of people spent ONLY $400 and made this short film on Street Fighter

IT IS ****ING FANTASTIC and i suggest you SF fans check it out

SF:Legacy is here and it is phenomenal

I've watched it just now and I'm truly amazed with the shorts itself :awesome:

Kudos to Joey Ansah & the crew for making this faithful and the great casting of Jon Foo as Ryu, Christian (Tom Cruise :oldrazz:) Howard as Ken, and Joey Ansah as Akuma :awesome::awesome:

I would really love to see the full length feature film out of this :word:

Well, there were some Batman fans who created a short film called Batman: Dead End that probably inspired BB, directly or indirectly, so hopefully this will do the same for SF.

I really do want Jon Foo & Christian Howard to reprise their roles if a full feature movie is made :awesome:

It looked great, the Hadoken and flaming Shoryuken came off as a bit cheesy, because the special effects just weren't really the best, but I loved just to see Ryu and Ken fight. And I also think the eyebrows were a bit much.

I love the fighting chemistry between the actors and how faithful they shotokan karate style is shown there. I know the hadouken & flaming shoryuken is not much but if only they have enough budget to make nicer.

They should have went with a classic Shoryuken, but dramatic looking with a nice slomwo effect and I would've saved the Hadoken for last, similar to the fight with Sagat in the animated movie. The Hadoken should be something really special, that can't be used often. That's how I would do it anyway. It shouldn't be something that you can shoot several times in a fight.

Costume design, finally, someone who knows what the hell they're doing! Every little detail has been faithfully recreated, as every fine medium should.

Are you talking about that short with Alien and Predator. How did that inspire anything from Batman Begins

Really, Tron? Are you being serious right now?

You don't remember the scene in Begins where Batman is waiting in that apartment for Scarecrow and then he and a couple of goons show up. Batman takes out one of them while he was peeing. He then takes out the other one, I can't remember how though. He proceeds to attack Scarecrow, but Scarecrow catches Batman off guard and sprays him in the face with some fear gas. That not being enough, he sets Batman on fire. Batman goes crazy and dives out the window. He crashes into the alley below. In a dramatic moment, he calls for Alfred as he rolls around in a puddle to put out the flames. Then an Alien pops of a dumpster.

You don't remember that?

Oh, hell, I always thought that was just a really tall and deformed homeless guy

I really liked both of those shorts. It amazes me how low budget fan, or not huge studio backed shorts like that can be better in what minimal amount of time is given than full length Hollywood films. I also am puzzled why Hollywood still thinks a story following Ryu and Ken can't work when the Street Fighter II anime, and Street Fighter V series both did that, and were both very entertaining (IMO).

As for Super Street Fighter IV....:( still waiting on my Gamestop delivery. I ordered it after I got paid last week on Friday, and I understand the weekend thing, but only today am I getting an email saying it was shipped. As for why I ordered it online...I can't find it anywhere. I looked both Friday and Sunday at Wal-Mart, and in a Gamestop store, and nothing.

On the plus side it shows they're shipping me a shirt as well, which I didn't realize would even come with the order. It's not like I pre-ordered it or anything, so was a pleasant surprise. Can't wait for it to get in tho, getting so anxious to play this. Been 2 months or so since I sold SFIV knowing I'd get this, and I'm starting to get that SF itch.

Just got SSF IV in the mail, and I'm in love lol. The intro kicks right in with the SF theme. The options are soooo much better. The extra characters, everything, Capcom really out did themselves. I have something to do so have to head out for a few hours, but was able to beat the game on normal quickly with Guile, and Ryu. Then tried Juri and Dee Jay in training.

Dee Jay was awesome as he was in 2, and Juri plays good, but will take time for me to get used to. Seth seemed much easier. I went pure offensive, and was never in threat of losing. I thought they were going to make him cheaper?

Oh, also hats off to Capcom for the language options. I found the English Juri voice was to be somewhat awful. So I turned on Japanese voices (which gives Juri a much better, and sexier voice lol). Then after beating it unlocked the option to change the language for individual characters, which is pure win. Later when I get the time I plan on messing with everyone in training and seeing which voices I like better.

I also love the virtual insert a quarter option in arcade mode.

i think we have a couple new posters to the thread...any of you on Live? lol

well i caved and got the game, really i got it cause it was only £20 quid at tescos

loving it so far

you automatically get two new colors for your characters 11 and 12. 11 is the ink look from the first SF4 videos and 12 is the sketchy line look from the SSF4 videos. i think theyre more distracting than anything else.
If i sell the original game, would i still gain the advantage perks that you get if you have both games?

Don't know if you guys use it or not, but I will say that the 'Same Skill' filter seems to work a little better in this one than the original. I'm finding more people that I have decent matches with without getting obliterating all the time like the original, though I still love a majority of the time

All you need is a SFIV save file on your system

I still haven't received the free DLC Amazon said every customer gets for pre-ordering SSFIV, so I sent an email to their customer service. It would peeve me off big time if they don't honor the deal.

Good news: The Amazon customer rep emailed me back with the code, and it is likely they just forgot about it. Looking forward to play some of you in the near future, but now I'm just too busy to play any SSFIV.
