Raimi for Spidey 4! WOOOOO HOOOO!!

HAHAHHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAAHHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAH!:woot:

I doubt it..and at this point i kinda hope not..

But in regard to Jackson's hobbit

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

This is great news if it comes to pass. I don't think anyone could do The Hobbit justice or to the level and degree that Peter Jackson can.

He really knows how to make an epic film, and if given the chance to do The Hobbit, I am secure in the belief that he will deliver a film that is really epic, and excellent.

WOOTERS!

Between The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, The Hobbit was my favorite story.

If Jackson comes on board I wonder if he'll do the story all in just one film, or make a couple of em'.

We’ve got a follow up to our story “Sam Raimi Possibly Directing Clash of the Titans” and it’s a doozie!

All indications from our inside sources are saying that while Raimi was seriously considering the Titans offer, he has a much bigger fish to fry and has possibly chosen to go in the direction of Middle Earth instead. While we are being told that negotiations are still underway for the prequel and final deals won’t be reached immediately, Raimi is leaning towards directing The Hobbit as his next big project.
Where does this leave the legendary Peter Jackson?
Although New Line’s Bob Shaye and Jackson had a much publicized dispute over “the green,” the recently spoke with Shaye and he had this to say,
Eager to move ahead with "The Hobbit," New Line has quietly been trying to mend fences with "Rings" Peter Jackson, who has sued the company over his share of profits from the first "Rings" When asked if it was true that company insiders had been in talks with Jackson's reps, Shaye replied, "Yes, that's a fair statement. Notwithstanding our personal quarrels, I really respect and admire Peter and would love for him to be creatively involved in some way in 'The Hobbit.'"
All sources indicate that although Jackson won’t be back to direct, our source is telling us that Raimi is looking to helm The Hobbit with Peter Jackson attached to produce. Raimi has said in the past that he would not take on the project without Jackson’s blessing. Well, looks like he may have it!

Wow Raimi and Jackson together what a duo. How could the Hobbit not be a hit with both involved. That would work for me but only if they let Peter, Fran and Phillipa write it.

Da*n, that was one he!!uva rollercoaster ride.:(

I personally think this could be even better than Jackson directing. IMO, Jackson isn't that great of a director, he's ok, but nothing great. LOTR was the only movies he's done that are classic and half the work was already done for him by Tolkein. Jackson is unoriginal but I will say this, he's not bad when it comes to telling other people's stories as long as he doesn't over do them.

Raimi directing and Jackson as producer sounds good to me.

I've never read Tolkein's Hobbit book however, I have read the graphic novel adaptation which was great(love these so much more than normal books)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. raimi has got to be the worst choice ever. his style is freakin cheesy and bland as ****. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hmm Raimi and Jackson. I wouldn't object to that as long as Jackson handles all the creative duties the screenplay etc. Alan Lee and John Howe would likely return to design everything. I like the look of the Carrock from Alan Lee's Hobbit illustrations. And John Howe drew up an amazing Beorn too. I do wonder about Smaug's death though. I read somewhere that Jackson didn't like the way he got killed. I do wonder about that.....

And I wonder whether the two film option is still under consideration. If so they should both be released during the same year like the Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions.

I'm sure Jackson would want to include some of the subplots with the Necromancer (Sauron) lurking in Dol Guldur etc. The White Council working to lure Sauron out of the Mirkwood etc. And introduce Radagast and Cirdan. I doubt they'll even appear though. One of them may end up getting replaced by Celeborn or something.

And the casting of Bilbo. Who will it be? And I do hope all 13 Dwarves get included in the film. I think the more important casting choices would be Thorin and Balin. The others can be anybody even Bombur. Oh and get Clive Owen for Bard.

Frodo would have not been born yet so no appearance by him. Legolas would have to be in there for a cameo appearance especially at Thranduil's Mirkwood lair. And let's hope he doesn't pull some crazy stunt at the Battle of the Five Armies like in the previous movies. He can still take part in the battle though there's no harm in that.

And lastly Beorn. I do hope he doesn't get cut from the film like in the Animated film. Seeing him in the final battle will be kickass. Don't mess with the bear. :D

Kind of like the boxed macaroni & cheese you get at the store by mistake with the powdered cheese mix...YUCK!!!

Upon further pondering, I suppose Rami will suffice as long as Jackson is producing it.

How many have actually read the Hobbit? It's a completely different beast than LoTR it's a small, self-contained, light-hearted story... The fate of the world does not hang in the balance, it's about a hobbit from the shire going on an adventure with 12 dwarfs, I'm glad it'll be under someone else...

I thought it was 13 dwarfs that Bilbo went on an adventure with.

I thought 13 dwarfs were in the hobbit.

It's been a couple of years since I read the book I apologize... I read it... wow... ARound 6-8 years ago... Wowzas:wow: I was in like 6th or 7th grade
