I like your way of thinking . :wow: :trans:

in about the last 30 seconds of that Goo Goo Dolls video they show a kiss that wasnt in the movie, it looks like its at the part where right before they split up mikaela is like "sam wait, im glad i got in the car" or w/e. that scene was soooo cheesy, and in my head i was like "please dont kiss, please dont kiss..." well apparently they did and it was cut

I'd want to see major deleted scenes and possibly a Robot Edit taking out more of the Human stuff and focusing on the real reason we seen the movie "GIANT ****ING ROBOTS"

does he mention any deleted scenes featuring the transformers?

It's not direct , but very likely look at the quotes

O : I saw that 30 min preview , months ago and noticed there was a lot more comedy on it than the final cut . Why did you cut it ? The movie is funny , but could've been funnier

MB : Unfortunately it got too big . There was a lot of great and extremely funny things on it , and I really hated having to cut it , because I think comedy is gold. But u're right , there was more comedy , a great speech of John .... But all these things are going to the DVD . I couldn't use them , coz people would complain too much bout the duration . And comedy , ya know , it's the 1st thing to be cut , coz it's not essential for the story

This 30 minute preview contains scenes like

- Bumblebee helping Sam with the lady
- The Bots hiding scene
- Skorponok attacking

Wonder if the full ending with Sam and Mikela will be there (the high school scene) or if it was even filmed.

Also the 'Witwicky gene' was a gloomy and great scene, wonder if they filmed that...

a new post on the Michael Bay website states that the Transformers DVD will come in two versions. Original post right here.

Nelson here...

The Transformers DVD...when does it come out you ask. What's it gonna have? What I can tell you is this: there will be 2 versions:

1- A regular version with no extras (just a director commentary).

2.- A multi-disc version with the movie w/ director's commentary and additional disc(s) with tons of extra stuff.

Transformers will also be available on HD-DVD and Blu-ray formats.

Yeah Eddie, not Venom, scenes were cut... and wtf? Eddie never had noble intentions if you're implying that Eddie did it for Gwen. Eddie did it for himself. He felt that Peter ruined his life and the only way to exact revenge was to ruin Peter's life.

Just Eddie? I wish they had more stuff with Venom, but if not, then Sam Raimi is stupid and ruined my dream of seeing the best comic-book villain (Venom) in a Spidey movie AND outlasting seven freaking minutes.

I'd like a special edition with Welker voicing Megatron.

I take it you didn't like Hugo Weaving voicing Megatron?

You should know that Welker's voice is pretty awful, and if he did voice Megatron in the movie, it would be very horrible to hear, lol.

Wonder if the full ending with Sam and Mikela will be there (the high school scene) or if it was even filmed.

Also the 'Witwicky gene' was a gloomy and great scene, wonder if they filmed that...

Would people want deleted scenes, or extra scenes added on to the movie?

This should be in the other Transformers DVD forum, but this sounds like good news...wonder how many multi-discs they'll be...a four-disc pack?

That'll be grand.

Found this in the Transformers Sequels forum, but it regards to the Transformers DVD too!!!!!

SKNR.net recently interviewed Mark Ryan, the voice of Bumblebee in 'Transformers'. The actor dropped a major hint that the DVD release of the film would contain new material that sets up the sequel.

"I recently recorded more material for the DVD release of the film. It has to do with the Prequel that will set up the second film."

And when he says prequel, he just means like a little short film (possibly) to set up Transformers 2 like what 24 does.

I'll wait for the Multi-Disc version :woot:

Just for those news makes me wanna get a next-gen dvd player :ninja:

Edit: Nelson (iceforest on dm.net) says that he believes both versions will come out at the same time.

Great News! I can't stand Nelson though. The contempt and utter disdain that he exhitbs towards TF's fans is unforgivable. I will never log into that barren website until he's gone. So thanks for posting that.

Not specifying how many discs the multi-disc version will be made me think of awesome things(though most likely setting me up for disappointment). If it turns out to be a four disc collectors edition it should be like this:

Disc One:
Theatrical Version
Commentary By Michael Bay
DTS 5.1

Disc 2:
155 Minute(or so) Extended Version
DTS 5.1

Disc 3:
Making Of
Interviews
Pre Viz animatics
CGI Featurette
Marketing Campaign
and a whole lot more!

Disc Four:
Original Score By Steve Jablonsky

Thank god they cut the scene of John speech. I don't think i could have taken another minute of that bumbling idiot on screen.

Wait- multidisk, is that that HD/ Blu-Ray & DVD combo thing?

If so that would be fcking awesome!!! I love how they are doing that now!
