Edited my original post to include his alt mode.

My completed customized Ironhide!! I know he's not perfect, but I'm pretty damn pround of him. Especially for my first custom.

I don't have any paint. I have noticed that theres some places on Optimus (in car mode) that could use some finishing touches. I see some white that shouldn't be here and there.

As for my Ironhide...I think I'll leave him as he is.

Swell job, Mal. This has nothing to do with the quality of your repaint, but I've realized I don't much like the red on him. I understand that red was his color in G1, but I think black works a lot better for the film's character.

He's a lot cooler the way he looks in the film. "Punk ass decepticon." heh...love that line.

Just be sure to read Jin's tutorial first. Not just any paints will work on these guys.

One thing I disagree with Jin on is not buying acrylics from Wal-Mart because they won't stick to plastic. Maybe I just have the magic touch but they work fine for me. I've been customizing for about 4 plus years and that's all I use. From Star Wars to Transformers Ive used the same paints and they work well. Some say the paint will chip during transformation, but once I'm done painting I always spray my figures with a clear acrylic sealer.

I'll throw up some pictures of my custome soundwave later tonight.

This is great news for me! I want to do more customizing, but the only model store near me, doesn't have the colors I want. I'm sure Wal-Mart and other stores have a huge selection.

well,went to WM today,and was pleasantly surprised to see the ROTF pegs and shelves restocked again...even more glorious,and entire endcap overflowing with Leader Class! gloriously i dug through all those figures,all those shelves,to discover.....

only Prime's and Megatron's there...not a single Jetfire...

so,seriously,which of you bastards put a hex on me!!??
