Got Human Alliance Bumblebee with the intent of possibly re-shelling him into another type of muscle car, but the wheel wells on the toy don't line up correctly with the model kit...so much for that.

In the meantime, I flipped his legs so he looks movie-correct, and I intend to make a removable right hand for him. The toy is great. My only complaint (aside from him not having a right hand option) is that the seat backs on BB's forearms should have a hinge to fold flat instead of sticking out so far.

I got HA Bumblebee this past Saturday. Great figure. It's my only Transformers figure, but it's better than the ones my brother has (Deluxe Sideswipe, Voyager Ironhide and Ratchet). The Riverwood Target had one Devastator on Saturday, not sure if it's still there. In case anyone in Atlanta is looking for Devastator.

so,my first stop was at TRU Wilkes-Barre...i was surprised to find that they moved all the TF stuff out,been replaced by GI Joe at the front of the store...so i go to the back,and see the TF "aisle" ,if you could call it that...piss-poor quality,with ROTF,Univers,and Animated stuff all mixed together....

dejected,i walked to the front of the store,lamenting the many more miles and gas my car would be cruising through,when i spotted by the regesters a whole part of the wall dedicated to ROTF stuff..and right there,at the end,was the glory:

ahem...they only had 1 of him,but they did have some other new stuff i hadn't seen anywhere else ,including newer Robot Replicas like the twins,the Fallen,and Jetfire,as well as 1 Human Alliance Sideswipe mixed in with the Bumblebee's...

im so frustrated now...i went to a local TRU the other day and they had a front GI Joe display too and a crappy TF isle, and i just assumed the stuff in the front of the store had sold like wildfire, i didnt even think to look around as i was walking out of the place for a different display

currntly in the process of customizing mine....a little black overwash goes a loooonnngggg way on this guy....

I went to Target today and found nothing new. They moved the Transformers stuff at another spot, and all they had was Rampage; they had a slot for Devastator but they didn't have it.

okay,some open pics....

i gave them all a redo with black overwash,some brown drybrushing on the wheels/treads as well as some parts where i felt dirt and mud were appropriate,and painted in all the little silver gears and parts where i could...felt this guy should be dirty!

also painted the red parts of his face...

size-wise,he's only about an inch taller than the Leader-Class toys...

but is much thicker/beefier....

man, you'd think in a set they could get scaling right, but its even more of a catastrophe, i mean, look at Long Haul, i know he's only a leg but he's the same size as Rampage and smaller than Mixmaster???

jesus Hasbro is it that hard to make them a little more accurate, maybe make the whole thing a few inches taller, and heck you could even charge a little more for it; honestly wouldnt put it past you
