So it looks like not only is Banshee derived from Logan. But Magneto and Charles discovered it and wiped Logan's memory of the whole period. AND, when Charles first used it it gave him exact duplicates of Logan's abilities. That is, if Logan's abilities are his abilities at all. At this point I wouldnt be surprised to learn that Wolverine's true mutant ability (being the first and all) was to create or catalyse benevolent mutations depending on the external stimulus that switches on the x-gene (In Charles' case of exhibiting Wolverine powers, the external stimulus was of a jungle environment and a brutal fight with a clawed and savage reptile). Logan's feral abilities are just a stabilisation of this power in his own body.

I wouldnt put anything past them at this stage in their attempts to really switch up the origins of the Ultimate Uni and make it less and less comparable to the 616.

In a way i hope they do make it less and less comparable, then maybe people would stop comparing it to the 616 counterpart

well Gambit sucked (and no I never cared for him, even when he first showed up). Best thing about that story was getting rid of Rogue who was equally as bad

I found the panel which Xavier punched the dinosaur(?) really hilarious.

And I have to re-think about the most common/cliche power in Marvel, the title used to go to telepathy, now it's officially Wolverine powers, meaning the ability to give people attitude and scratches and the ability to heal when people return the favor.

Some of you guys may know already, but to those who don't...UXM is over. They're are sending it to Hades y'all.... I'm disappointed but I'm sure a lot of you are relieved. As I've said before, UXM was not beyond redemption; this comic could've been saved, redeemed and takin' onto glory. I hope the Ultimate X characters stay around in some capacity. so we're basically loosing two established titles and getting Ultimate Avengers and the continuation of Loeb's piece of **** Ultimates story? Way to drop the ball yet again Marvel.

I can see an Ultimate Wolverine ongoing coming already...........
