Your comment sounds just like another poster over at comicbookresources message board. I haven't read any of Ultimate 3 or any of the Ultimates for that matter but I've heard how "bad" Ultimates 3 is... I guess they want to keep it.

It's a sad day though... sad day....

That's not the point. The series wasn't a lost cause. If they got a decent writer and a steady artist onboard not to mention stopped approving ridiculous story ideas (The Magician arc) this series coulda survived. But no they dropped it without a second thought to start a whole new series and continue an arc that nobody, repeat NOBODY, liked is just plain stupid.

I say good riddance. I never really liked any of the Ultimate X-Men aside from Ultimate Colossus and they just recently destroyed his character and the book is just awful right now period.

the x-men are such a big part of marvel's universe(es), so it'll be weird for them not to have their own title.

Im kind of sad. Ultimate X-men is what got me reading X-men in the first place. But from what Ive heard it was getting really bad. Still, theres plenty of good writers and artists out there, Im sure they could have revived the series.

I think ultimately (no pun intended) a small cast of X-men will survive Ultimatum (Wolverine will of course survive) and be featured in a new book. I believe Millar mentioned some team book which will feature a lot of characters or something. Maybe some UX-characters will show up there... I just hope we don't get Ultimate Wolverine and the X-men like allegedly rumored.

I knew to expect it because of the whole Ultimatium *****e... but cancelling it is such a crap decision!

Yeah this title, though I've had some disagreements with it as of late, was one of my favorites aswell. And to think we're losing it so they can ****ing continue Loeb's piece of **** Ulltimates 3 story.

This annual was OK I loved the node to the 616 with the negative zone prison. I think they are showing just how too similar the universes are now.

Miller said that 616 Ultimatised and he's right, but seriously cancel Loeb on Ultimates that crap needs to go.

Hopefully X-Men and FF members will turn up in the Ultimate Avengers book. Remember there must have been a reason everyone appeared iin the last issue(s) of Ultimates 2.
