What they did to Gambit in the second annual was a crime. It was a quick fix designed to get rid of a character they never wanted to begin with.

Then again, the whole Wolves at the Gate arc was pretty poor to. So eh.

Kirkman brought him back when he introduced the 'Logan is Sabertooth's father' theory. It's impossible to tell from that cover if Sabs still has the scar around his neck, though. Also, it wouldn't make much sense to start bringing everyone back since they're about to kill so many people off.

Talk about dysfunctional family, I completely missed this part, but I haven't really paid much attention to Kirkman's run in Ult X-Men and after so it shouldn't be too much of a big surprise.

I know. And it's not just mutants. The super soldier project came from Wolverine as well. Captain America? Spider-Man? Green Goblin? They all owe their powers to Logan.

Thus my emphasis on 'one thing.'

Some of you guys may know already, but to those who don't...UXM is over. They're are sending it to Hades y'all.... I'm disappointed but I'm sure a lot of you are relieved. As I've said before, UXM was not beyond redemption; this comic could've been saved, redeemed and takin' onto glory. I hope the Ultimate X characters stay around in some capacity. I know what you mean. Everything and everyone is related to Wolverine. Every story arc starts with him. The Banshee being based on Wolverine's DNA was the final straw for me. Not that it matters now.
