The Phoenix was first brought up back in Hellfire and Brimstone around issue 20. It was last refrenced in the first issue of the Cable arc where Nick Fury gave Xavier a bracelet to help contain Jean's powers just in case she ever lost controlAnd whats with the Phoenix thing? When was it first brought up and last talked about (Im pretty sure it was around the Magician arc)?
Amen, aside from the very curvy Kitty (which really isnt a problem in my opinion^Because God heard our prayers?
) and the chunkified Bobby I really like Paquette's art.ROFL Why'd Oliver leave?
Yeeeeaaaah, he would make me hate every last one of them cuz he'd write 'em horribly. I retract my statement![]()
lol do you think paquette had a movie casting choice for fury- that is so sam l jackson. i loved the bobby and rogue bits- the untouchables poster is a nice touch

Well, he already made it so that Cypher isn't a mutant.
If that ever happens what do you think would be a good title for it? Ultimate Hellions?I'm still holdin out for a book about Emma's Academy.

Probably smarter to make it an ultimate version of another X-team. Ultimate X-Factor, Ultimate X-Force, or such. I'd say X-Factor is the most likely since Emma already has slight connections to the government, and X-Factor is most recognized in the past as a government sponsored team.
hopefully he stays. Ultimate Angel sucked and I dont care if I ever see him againBrilliant. And maybe they can work on getting Madrox to switch sides. He would be the only addition to Emma's school I'd make right away. I like Emma's school just the way it is right now(though it needs more females). Wonder what Angel's gonna do there now that Charles is gone?

Okay, my bad.Originally posted by Specter313
He didn't, this is just a fill in.
The Ultimate Fure has always been based on Sam Jackson, looks-wise.
I heard that Marvel actually asked Samuel L. Jackson if they could model Ultimate Fury after him.

I thought it was farily obvious. Furty screamed Samual L Jackson from his first appearancei never noticed until i saw those previews-you'd think marvel would be less obvious.

The art hasn't been that bad to. At least in issue 78.The cocnlusion of Cable arc was as crappy as it gets - both writing and art. I'm seriously considering dropping Ultimate X-Men - it's been going down the hill since Kirkman took over and it's hit rock bottom (or looking at the trend of the level of his writing, Kirkman will start to dig in deeper now - I'll pass).![]()
