What part of the Ultimate Universe being sperate from 616 do people not understand? Ultimate writers don't have to do anything. They can write Beast as a guy with Muscular dystophy and Storm as an alcoholic lesbian if they so choose.

I don't recall saying there was any valid reason to copy/paste attributes from the 616 verse. Hell, if anything, I've done the exact opposite while targeting a rather specific fanbase. t:

But yeah, I'll admit it's pretty f*****n funny to see people whining about how they got the characters WRONG in an ALTERNATE universe. t:

And nooo, the bloody movies don't count. They were meant to be an adaptation. The alternate take on the mythos angle just kicked in when they tried to explain how they could've gotten so many characters wrong. t:

I wish the Ultimate universe had more outrageous changes from 616. I'll admit, at first I rolled my eyes at:

-Sabes being Logan's son
-The Earth being a cage for the Phoenix and it being a religion
-Cablerine

but in retrospect, it's a good thing. I like this universe b/c it's supposed to be diff

I wish the Ultimate universe would be MORE different, I agree. There's so much room for more storylines that the writers aren't taking advantage of.

Not that I actually believe those two would work as a couple, but it would be real funny to piss off Jean/Scott and Jean/Logan shippers that outrageously. t:

Yeah. I'm actually really liking gay Colossus. His relationship with Northstar is cool to see. Although I don't get why Jean-Paul had tro be gay in 2 universes

Well, actually, my problem with it is the notion of broody bitter hardasses with tons of issues - well, in 616 anyway - lusting after a bloody saint.

I'd support the Scott/Emma union in 616 if it didn't seem like Emma was controlling him.

Didn't Joss aknowledge in Torn that Cyke had figured her out just as much as she'd figured him out only without her even noticing? Which sort of, ya know, is one hell of a tick in Cyke's win collumn.

Iceman isn't maturing at all (I know thats always been in him, but it's like...ALL THE TIME).

Really? i think Rogue leaving him was a wake up call, his encounter with proteus and the trouble with his parents made him grow.
Put it this way he's a teenage boy who is determined to make it with a girl he can't have sex with again.I'd say that takes some maturity

The number of Scott and Logan pairing supporters probably exceeds the number of SJ and JL supporters...
Someone should pass this suggestion to Marvel, the sales may go up another notch because of this.
I for one will definitely buy it.

Cablerine <------ the worst! Okay, I have to admit...the character itself wasn't bad, I just didn't like what happened at the end of that arc..

I very well understand that. But since Storm is ABSOLUTELY USELESS now, I'd like that aspect to be apart of this universe so she can be useful. Just like issue 45 when she goes ballistic on that sentinel after Beasts' killing, and Scott comments "Dear Lord...", I didn't think that that was a coincidence t: That shows that they at least put that aspect of her into this universe. And FYI, I did't say the writers HAD to do anything. But whatever, I wrote how Jean and Iceman are as of now, and all Darth saw was "MAKE STORM A GODDESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

Some crack a bad team leader that rhymed with Icepops right after Sebs made a comment about how all other leaders sucked compared to Storm.

Sebita said everyone sucked compared to Storm (which is crazy IMO) and I was saying that she was forgetting someome that rhymed with Icepops (meaning Cyclops), because I thought he he was just as good as Storm, if not, better.
