No, since Ultimates 2 shows that Hulk survives his encounter with Wolverine. (it's not out yet but Hulk was on the cover)

Not sayin he killed Bruce as Bruce does show up to whoop ass in U2. Just saying he may have had to kill somebody else.

I don't think so man.
By the way, liking the avatar of the Jiggaman.

Thanks

I see what you're saying...though from the way things are being presented, it doesn't seem that Xavier would be allowed to know about Ult. Hulk v. Wolverine (considering he couldn't just pry it from Wolverine's mind).

And the way they were talking it seemed as though it was something Xavier witnessed/involved with.

I read issue 74 awhile ago. It was a solid conclusion, but
the way Magician not dying was explained was kind of confusing. And to give the story more resolution, I think Kirkman should have killed him off instead of having him leave. And I guess the X-Men aren't done wiht the Shi'ar yet, which could be interesting.

I am more curious going forward now with this arc done and the annual over with, what is going to be up with Gambit if anything. Does this mean that now nothing is left of him at all? I hope this is addressed in some way.

Now that his powers have left Rogue, maybe it could be that his powers have found their way back to Remy and brought him back to life, or maybe in a different, equally handsome, athletic body, haha.

I just want to know who gave Logan the ring, my mother thought it was the person at the end of the comic, whiuch casued me to pause and quickly wipe idea from my head, though said person may know who(lacking information for those who have yet to read it.) And I want to know what will happen to colosuss, whom seems to be heading the same way that beast went, but hey just my two cents.

If they killed off Ultimate Colossus, they've buried the hatchet with me. He's the only likeable one of the Ultimate X-Men to me (was it a preresquite to Marvel to make all the Ultimate counterparts complete jackasses?).

I'm glad this weak Magician arc is over. Hopefully the Cable arc will be better, but I have doubts seeing as Cable has never been one of my favorite characters.

Im personally not a UXM fan, but there are a few plots that atracts me, for instance, Cable and Phoenix..........about Colosus, he's the less likeable to me(sorry), in this version of course, I prefer the 616 version......I wonder the connection of Cable with the Xmen, and the fate of Jean

I gave up on ultimate X-Men after the first couple of issues of Kirkman's run, normally I like Kirkman but he just doesn't click with me on this title. Anyway been keeping up to date with whats going on but it will take alot more than just bishop, cable, phoenix and shiar to bring me back in. And it will take things like the exorcism of nightcrawler and gambit to keep me away (exorcism not meant in a literal sense).

me too, I keep up to se what happends, but not that I like it, the only things that keep me is now the Cable thing and Phoenix.

Liked the Magician storyline, but I'm glad it's over now... looking forward to seeing how things go with Cabel...

I just wish Storm would get to do something soon.... she has not done anything in almost a year now!!

And after the annual I want Mystique and Emma back!!! BTW, with Mystique, is she still in prison masquerading as Magneto, while Magneto roams free...!?

He's my fav so I guess I'm slightly biased :p I think Rogue and Iceman are pretty likeable too, but you're right about the team being full of jerks.

The Magician arc was full of twists, I'll give it that but I really don't have high hoped for the Cable arc. We'll see what happens.

I wonder what Sabes showing up was for. Makes me wonder if he was telling the truth about him being related to Wolverine?

I think he was, just the look on his face says it all.

Interesting points by all. I read it in the store and it was suppose to be my deciding factor on whether to continue reading or drop this series. I'm so dropping it.

I'm feeling(I like) your avvy JustABill.

Yeah, I wallpapered that mohawked-Storm image.

Well, back to the thread.

He got it at the end of the Blockbuster arc, if I remember correctly.

He's just kinda had it for a while and hasn't been doing anything about it.

Is it just me or did it looked like Sabertooth loved and cared about Logan? As an old friend, love or family member ..I dont know. But there was something about him.

It seemed like he was conflicted. Maybe that he loved him as a little one and then was brainwashed into hating him and so now regrets all the things he did during his brainwashing.

Or just that something messed up happen so that Sabretooth can only hurt the one he loves.

But yeah, I definitely got that impression.

I am glad I was not the only one that thought that sabretooth seemed a little more upset about giving a piece of wolverine to the sciencist, and the comment that my mother made did actually make a little more sense, I like that idea of Sabretooth caring about him, then the brain washing and then regreting what happened after the brainwashing.
