Well this issue focuses on Kurt and his exile so I doubt it'll add any confusion to the current stories. Pyro will most likely be a throw away character anyway so no worries

What issue is it when he falls into a coma? I need that because I didn't know why he was asleep to begin with. And he isn't mentally disturbed or anything is he? Why would he wake up then roam the streets and such?

well it kind of stands alone. Its called annual number two not ultimate x men number 32 for example. i think its just before the cable arc started in terms of continuity but i'd have to check.

I wouldn't recommend any of the stuff Kirkman has written. Magnetic North is the last good piece of Ultimate X-Men, I say.
