Havok, name at least 5 pencilers who've worked on the X-books (core, side team, spinoff, whatever) whose work you actually liked. Please. Because I looked up Skroce, and I don't see much wrong with his art. I've got to get a feel for your personal tastes before I talk to you about artwork in a comic again.

You know, I've come to the conclusion that 90% of the people who say they like Mike Choi really like Oback's colors. His art is completely unrecognizable before Sonia Oback gets ahold of it.

I wouldnt quite say that. Here is X-force 17 colored and uncolored and his uncolored work still looks pretty damn good even without Oback touching it.



whatever the reason, his art is still among the best looking in the X line today, and for much better than Land, Dodson and Skroce combined

Anyone else think Scott calling Emma "honey" just feels wrong? Emma doesn't strike me as the kind of woman who you'd call "honey." She's more of a "darling" or a "love."

Dah-ling. LOL, I can think of other words, most much less complimentary.

The B-word also comes to mind with Emma. In fact, if Scott ever referred to Emma as "B****" like some sort of cartoon pimp, I'd probably hail it as the single greatest issue this decade.

But for the sake of Scott and Emma talking to each other like a functioning couple, I could see them calling each other "darling" all the time. Sorta like Hart to Hart.

just another way to "Jeanerize" her. She and Scott have been becoming way too sappy under Fraction's pen.

I hope to god that beast dosnt leave the x-men i swear if he leaves uncanny i wont buy uncanny because i dont get what beast hates about utopia he was fine with posing as mutant hunters but he hates keeping mutants isolated on an island floating in san fransico bay.

get ready to be disappointed then bc it looks like Beast will be leaving

I dont get quite get the comparison between X-factor and Utopia. X-factor was all about living Xavier's dream. Ultimately Beast's goal in that was finding and training young mutant. X-factor was his family. They were his friends that he grew up with and they all shared a common goal, ideologies, and were on the same page. Now? He's being led by his former best friend who has become very dark, told numerous lies, kept hidden secrets, condones and encourages killing to get the job done, etc.... Scott Summers is not the same person Beast once you and in many ways he's watching him evolve into a modern age Magneto. Too many people on that island are turning a blind eye to it and not voicing any opinion. Thats highly uncharacteristic of many of them, especially Beast. If he doesnt agree with things and doesnt feel if they are right, I expect him to speak up. The Beast I knew would not stand by and support the man that Scott has become. Im glad that it looks like he will be standing up for himself and turning his back on him and going elsewhere where he feels he can make a difference and actually be proud of himself and those around him

Yeah i know but i am really POed about it because in truth i dont want beast to be a member of ****ing S.W.O.R.D i want him to be a X-Man not be in space with his girlfriend i hate fraction for messing up beast deeply take of fraction please put somebody else on it please i want beast to be figthing for mutant freedom and teaching other young mutants like back in the 90's not this crap i swear all of my favorite characters are ruined beast is in space,rogue is a whiny *****,gambit is a handbag to rogue,kitty is in a space bullet and nightcrawler is depressed curse you fraction curse you.

From my POV, it seems that Hank wants to stuff Scott into a box and hopes him stay the way he remembers, that's rather childish imo.

and if anybody should be able to deal with change..it is Beast. Throwing a hissyfit because you don't see eye to eye with someone you think hasn't changed for the better, or how you see fit is not an excuse to run away. You become the voice of reason that you think you are, always offer up the option that others overlooked.

I completly understand him leaving. Scott was his best friend. He's been telling alot of lies, and keeping dark secrets. I think Hank feels a sort of betrayal. Scott definetly hasnt trust him enough to confide in him and I think he may also feel a bit used by him. His take on things makes sense and really more of the other X-men should be feeling this way. The fact that Hank used to be so close to Scott is probably why he's being used for this as the two have drifted apart. The continuity and timing is whats odd here bc all of this should have happened in the Confession
