I think the first girl will be connected to Chamber bc it looks as if she has the same Apocalypse features that he has. If Generation X does come back, I really hope they deal with Skin and Synch both of whom were resurrected in Necrosha

Not the same markings. The lines that Chamber and Apocalypse have go from mouth to ear, not mouth to eyes to hair:

Looks kinda cool. Well see how this plays out. I hope they don't retread past mutants though, I hope they are new characters.

If they're new characters, I hope they're bad guys. There are far too many good guys, and not enough comics to contain them.

Why would Magneto turn into a bad guy? By moving nearly the entire mutant population to an island separated from humanity, Cyclops has achieved one of Magneto's old plans.

He moved most of the current mutants. If Second Coming results in new mutants poppint out across the world then things are effectively gone back to how they were when the Xmen started in the 60s. With that said, I dont see him going bad any time soon bc he's set to have a supporting role in Legacy. I think Carey is going to continue to play around with the Mags/Rogue dynamics

I just have one question (well, sorta two) - does anyone know if Iceman is going to be on any 'teams' and get decent face time, and will we have any character focus or development beyond Scott, Emma, and Pixie?

I wouldn't hold my breath, Carey was the only one doing anything with him b4 and during MC and MD.

If this turn out to be a new series, I'd like to see Bobby be the mentor to the kids. I think it would suit him.

I read that they will be doing some cool stuff with Logan......of course, they are always doing cool stuff with Logan.

I am sure that Utopia wont be there much longer, to much of a risk. Plus (hopefully) with new mutants popping up they will have to spread out. Mag's is cool and I am glad he is with the good guys...but really, what other villans are out there now???? Not many. I am hoping for a west/east coast team thing.

And god forbid someone creates a new villain.





There's plenty of villains to run to without having to turn Magneto bad again. I'm getting tired of the guy getting redeemed every couple of years, only for him to take another unexplained villainous turn. Writers always take the time to explain why he's helping the X-Men, but nobody seems to think it's important to explain why he wants to kill them a week later. He has no place being a villain anymore.

I agree with manic there are way too many X-Men as it is. Decimation was supposed to thin the herd but it doesn't work when every writer who pens an X-book adds new characters. Now we are at a point where characters are not getting enough development because there are too many characters. Marvel guys may moan about too many X-books in the 90s but atleast the mutants where on enough seperate teams so that they could each get enought face time and development. you could keep track of what was going on easier too.

I think Marvel should put a proper limit on mutants that are X-Men for a few years. They can have other mutants but only a certain amount are X-Men and writers have work with the charcters they have got.

If anything the X-Men need more new villains of give the villains from the past an upgrade so that they are a bigger threat.

Emplate was a good example.

even if he wasn't the idea is that NEW mutants could be appearing. what would be the point of just bringing back people we havent seen in 10 years?
