I didn't think he forgot about the Shaw stuff. They keep showing scenes of Danger's virtual brig, after all. It's clear he was constantly shoving it on the backburner. Frankly, I expected this stuff to come out during or just after the Utopia crossover. Namor was pretty prominent in those issues, and his loyalty to Emma was a big plot point.

Now that the Five Lights is done, I would say Generation Next was the better story that introduced the new team of teen mutants

exactly. everyone (myself included) was expecting this stuff to hit earlier and when it didnt happen we just said "well that sucks". it just comforting to see Fraction has more of a handle on his stories than alot of people seem to think.

I'd complain about Ali making sparks appear around her all the time, but it's literally the only way we can tell her apart from every other blonde in the X-Men.

I really, really don't like Lands "art". But its better then the last guy.

It's like some sort of nefarious plan, really. Make us appreciate Greg Land's barely-sequential pinup tracings by putting Portacio's coma-atrophied scribblings on the book for a while.

That pic of Cecilia looks like it was drawn by Portacio. BTW, LOVE that she is being utilized in this upcoming arc

Portacio and Dodson both draw Scott with longer hair as well. Thats been his look in UXM

I like that Northstar and Dazzler are such buds these days! Throw in Gambit and that's a cool team!

If Fraction continues his trend of making Pixie into Dazzler's sidekick, you might as well throw her into that team too.

I really liked the Hellbound team, even though I am not a big fan of Cannonball, Magik or Pixie. As long as Northstar, Dazzler and Gambit are together, I'm all for it! Those guys know how to have fun!

Unlettered previews are online for the issue after this. In regards to Land and dazzerler isn't the point of her power that she covers sound to light as sound is everywhere would she be creating light around herself without realising it. Also agbout the blonde women looking the same the majority of comicbook artists seem to have generic faces for all, hell did you see the Women of Marvel boarders a few months back!!!

Dazzler has the ability to store sound energy inside of her without converting it into light. She did so for a long time, back when she kept her mutant powers a secret from the public. It's when she's bombarded with sound that she can't help but create light.
