I mean out of all the villains from the Spidey movies he has to be the majorities favorite. well he's my favorite but i think it would please the fans for his return.

I think people underestimate the potential of mysterio.

mysterio using illusions can;

* place spider-man in any time
* place spider-man in any place
* pit him against any villian (robotics)
* mimic his (spidey's) powers

you could get epic vista's, epic battles, when you think about it the sky is the limit with mysterio.

Illusions are not always without danger... if you see a bridge that isn't there, you will still fall off the cliff. if your holding a grenade but all you see is an apple, the apple will still blow your head off.

Is mysterio the best available option? no, probably not. but it can;t be said that he is completely without merit.

Sinister 6 would just be to many characters but i think a different director would maby handle it better. tbh i would like Doc to stay dead cause i thought SM2 was done perfectly, im just afraid if they brought him back they would ruin the character

point taken i can see how that would be a challenging battle to Spidey but i don't know if Mysterio would be easy on the eyes of the general audience espeically those who have no idea who he is. the general audience are more familiar with the likes of Electro and Carnage. by popular demand i don't think we would ever see Mysterio in a Spidey flick though.

I think that Green Goblin is. (but not the "goblin' we saw, but the one as he should have been)

they should save the Sinister 6 for Spider-Man 6 respetively and turn it into something like X-Men series. mutliple heros multiple viallains (hey it worked) Spidey could not battle all the villains by himself yet if he dawned the sybmiote suit again maybe he stands a chance but he still might need help. which is why i'm hoping before Spider-Man 6 they make a reboot of Daredevil that is totally kick @$$ and has a cliffhanger that links Daredevil into Spider-Man 6. along with other allies like Black Cat or even Luke Cage.

seriously how cool would it be for spidey to be facing down myserio and then rhino (robot) charges him, as he is getting to his feet the shocker (robot) blasts him through a wall. the potential is definately there.

there is a classic lee/ditko mysterio story where spidey is losing his mind, being attacked by villians that aren't there, he goes to see a shrink and just as he is about to reveal his identity JJJ steps in to break the illusion. a fanstic story that could definately work on the big screen.

Now that I think about it, what if Mysterio is the villian and that's part of the reason that Papajohn guy is returning. Mysterio could always trick Spider-Man and sort of bring him back to that incident with his Uncle.

I have to say though, it definitely is repetitive and redundant to show it for the umpthteen time.

yeah they really messed up on Sandman i agree. and lets not even talk about Venom but I can see Mysterio driving Peter into madness kinda like the Batman video game where Scarecrow torments Batman with his past. Mysterio should torment Peter the same way like have an illusion of Uncle Ben asking Peter why he lied to him or why did he let him die....

i can see Mysterio working to trick Sandman into fighting Spidey b/c of the lame i forgive you ending we got in Spidey 3. sort of like brainwash him have his daugther die of cancer and Spidey is the reason.

action sequences don't need character developement. you don't need to flesh out a character that attacks spidey one minute and is a pile of nuts and bolts the next.

I'd totally love to see that story in a movie! I can see Fichtner in that role as the psychiatrist and Mysterio!

that would be awesome but not as an illusion....

i think Harry and Norman could come back. after all in the comics the serum has a healing factor. maybe not up to par with Wolverine's healing factor but it was good enough for Norman to fake his death in the comics. what would be cool is showing Doc Ock being rescued by someone from drowning in the river. then another scene where Norman is waiting for his son in the morgue waiting for his son to wake up and reveal what the serum can do. Norman drills it in Harry's head he owes him. he gave him a new life, a new gift he owes him Spidey's soul. just a thought.

I don't think Raimi will bring them back. It would be hard to establish the fact that the serum miraculously gave them a healing factor so they rise from the dead. But thats just my opinion.

There's no point in bringing Doc Ock back. He served his purpose entirely. He doesn't need a motive to come back, and also there is none. It would make his redemption at the end of SM2 pointless. He has no personal quarrel against Spidey or anyone else. He brought everything what happened to himself and in the end, he wasn't like Brock. He admitted his mistakes and overcame them.

Bringing him or Norman or Harry back would be for fun, and much more can be made than just that, giving a shot to other villains, where the challenge will be new, instead of recycled. These storylines are done. It's time to move on.

There is storyline where Spidey thinks hes going mad and goes to see a psychiatrist (turns out to be Beck) and you saw silhouettes of villains hovering above his head. I say throw in scenes from the past movies,then have the actors come back to haunt him. Trying to make Spidey crack under guilt for letting them die.
